    I have, it does wonders for clearing up my acne, but I don’t go regularly.

    I don’t tan anywhere, I sunscreen the crap out of myself just to leave the house.

    My whole deal is being a pale lady now so I can be a hot granny later.

    I did briefly before the wedding and I am considering going once a week this fall/winter. My sister has a tanning bed so its free and its nice to see her and her family, plus it is so relaxing!

    I don’t!! After taking so many public health classes and years of being in health-field clubs, I won’t go near the things. One of my favorite mentors died of skin cancer, too. Tanning beds and excessive sun tanning are a sensitive subject for me

    @MissBoPeep:  If you’re looking into the benefits of light on acne, there are electronic cosmetic devices that kill acne-causing bacteria with blue and infrared light. They’re scientifically proven (I myself am a research consultant for such cosmetic devices), and you wouldn’t have the harmful effects of UV light on your skin. No wrinkles, no acne, no skin cancer, much better option! 🙂 The devices usually retail for $250. Could even be cheaper than tanning salons in the long run! Anyway, I wasn’t trying to be pushy or anything, just trying to help a fellow bee!

    Allergic to sunlight/similar UV rays… I’d probably burst into flames in a tanning bed haha.

    If i ever wanted to be tanner, I would go with SPRAY tan or self-tanning lotions instead!

    That would be a hell no for me. I did it for one summer in my early 20s when I was a professional at making bad decisions. My skin looked great at the time, but I’ve since had to have two moles on my back biopsied for skin cancer.

    HELL NO!

    But I would consider doing so if a medical condition of mine got worse.  I would be doing it as a treatment though, not to get a tan.

    I have before, but I don’t regularly.  I would tan again.  I just haven’t the last 2 summers.  Although, I have also done the spray tan.  I would do both again.

    @PixelMePretty:  +1

    As an auburn-head, I don’t tan anyway. I tried tanning before our cruise, using the high pressure beds 4x week for a couple of months…nothing. I gave up.

    No way, I burn ridiculously bad. So easily. I’m pretty sure I’m skin cancer waiting to happen.

    Nope. I like my skin melanoma free. Plus, if I wanted to look tan, spray tans look super natural anymore but without the wrinkles later.
