LMAO, yeah. It’s a rare and fleeting thought, but it’s happened. More often I’m wondering why he wants to spend his life with me :p

Oh I’ve definitely thought that. Men can be strange creatures. Haha. But they probably say the same about us.

No. I like a bit of me time like any other girl, but that thought has never gone through my mind.

coffeedrinker:  I haven’t, but I’m 100% sure he’s had those thoughts when he comes home from a late night at work and sees me sprawled on the couch, surrounded by candy wrappers. 😛

Yeah, I’m already married but the thought “this is who I’m spending my life with?” pops up but usually when he does something gross or annoying, I.E. loud farts, shaving and not cleaning up after himself, playing video games for hours on end. When it comes to the actual important stuff, I know we are good for a lifetime together.

NowMrsS:  I’m the same way about small things vs big. Like when he thinks Thomas Edison was president or something, I’m like, “Really?”. But we agree on all the important stuff and he’s a truly awesome guy.

Yep. And then I try to think about how there must be times he looks at ME and thinks the exact same thing. 🙂

Hmm, trying to think…I am sure I have had that fleeting moment when we are driving each other nuts about something. I thinks it’s only natural, whether it is a fleeting moment or genuine doubt.

We are celebrating 11 years together tomorrow and I would have to say I haven’t honestly thought that in the past 3-4 years.

Lately, given the stress of me working 60 hour weeks and him being immobile due to knee surgery, most of my thoughts have been, “thankgoodness you are my husband.” We have worked really well together through some really stressful things in the past two months (including a big move) and I am grateful for our relationship.

Yes, I have.  I’ve even said it to him (he was being obnoxious) and he just comes back with some smart response.  I just smiled at him and walked away.

Nope. Although I do have times where I need girl-time and on the flip side he has times where he needs guy-time.

Yep. I think most people have that feeling for a moment every now and then. Is it strong enough to question our relationship, absolutely not, it is never a serious thought that needs to be dissected. FI and I are polar opposites on many things. It has popped up for me during his food smacking moments (my BIGGEST pet peeve), and once when he decided to utilize our bathroom right before bed (when I planned on brushing my teeth, washing my face, etc) you can’t go in there for like an hour after he uses it!

I am sure it has popped up for him, too. He is a neat freak and I am the messy one. I know it drives him crazy when I am getting ready for a night out and he walks into our bathroom with it looking like Ulta exploded all over our countertops.

What can I say, it’s love. 🙂

No, I honestly think my husband makes my life a lot better.  But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t do annoying things sometimes.
