I had a chapel length train and a waltz length veil. No issues with the train dragging around sand and my veil was pretty heavily embellished so no blowing around in the wind.

I have a sweep train and wearing a chapel length veil haven’t worn it yet. So hopefully it works. I heard of putting a small weight like fish weights to hold it down.

I will be wear a small train (I have no idea what the length is called) and a birdcage veil.  My dress is heavy with lots of layers and I don’t mind it dragging in the sand.  That’s kind of why I chose a beach wedding!

i had a train, not too long and let it drag behind me while we took pre ceremony pics all over the resort. then after the ceremony, i bustled it. i also wore an elbow length veil and kept it on the entire day and night.
