i voted yes!
love how the front is stylish but the back has a bit of a va va va vooommmm look about it
if youre as skinny as the model in the pic (as i know youre a mum too) i think i hate you! :)
Hello,
Yes that dress is perfect for a ceremony on the beach. It flows and isn't ornate. Very, very nice.
eloping~I am not by any meanas as skinny as she is. It will take lots of work and dedication for me to pull off the dress. But, I am willing and ready, so why not? I want Jennifer Anniston arms, so now is as good a time as any to try for them.
I think it's perfect for a beach ceremony/evening outdoor reception! Besides, if you think it's perfect, that's all that really matters. And it's gorgeous.. the v-back is stunning!
I think it's perfect for what you're intending, plus you LOVE it!
Beach and outdoor seem to be more able to bend the rules a bit when it comes to weddings and receptions anyway. Go with your gut and order it. I think that it's great. And I love the fact that it's HALF off!
Absolutely!!!I love the dress and think that it exudes a simple sexy elegance!! Go for it!!
this dress SCREAMS beach to me!! i love it, go for it!! :)
That model has some unpleasant chicken bone wings sticking out. Not attractive. Don't get that skinny! It's all I see of that beautiful back of the dress is her shoulder bones =(
I think you officially have the Hive's blessing to go buy it! Now! =]
I wish regular dresses came in super hot backs like that! I'm such a sucker for a dramatic back
OK, hubs is out of town, but I've laid the ground work for my dress purchase. A lot of empty promises of saving money, etc. LOL He so knows me! He told me that not to even both with the promises and that we would talk about it when he gets home tomorrow. It helps that he had a good day and he "won" his mediation.
ABSOLUTELY! This dress is exactly what I would envision for a beach wedding. YES...you can definitely buy it...
Wow- that is a beautiful dress! Go for it :) I've got me some dress envy!
I had a dream about the dress...well, I had a dream about me in the dress! Cross your fingers for me. I wasn't supposed to buy any more vr related things this month, but the month is ALMOST over. So I hope it'll still be there next week!
I SAY YES TO THE DRESS!!! Very pretty, I'm also having a beach wedding and I think my dress is to formal, but who cares its my wedding!!
YES! I love this dress - it's absolutely gorgeous. Such a great choice!
Yes, yes, OMG, yes! That dress is To. Die. For! :) I think it would be fantastic for your wedding.
Wait, have you tried it on? This dress is totally gorgeous (and would be great for a beach wedding) but looks sort of unforgiving. Not sure what sort of undergarments you could wear with it since it's backless. What are your thoughts on that?
Beautiful dress Kate and would be perfect! Go for it. You need a workout buddy or to be accountable to workout along with somebody? You got me! I am wanting to lose about 15-20 before next summer! Let's get Jen's arms!!!
That dress is perfect for your venue!
Well...my husband doesn't like it. Now I know why you don't show your dress to your guy before the big day.
Off to cry now...
YES! It's gorgeous! I had a beach wedding too with an outdoor reception... and so I did tons of research on what was/wasn't appropriate. I found that pretty much anything goes! That dress is amazing, and I absolutely think you should go for it!
@Jessie~I've already told you, but I'll share with others. :) He is not a fan of the asymmetrical part of the bodice. He just doesn't like asymmetrical things and thinks it would make my chest look weird. He also thinks it's a little plain, which is odd because he is SOO not a showy guy. Here is one of the dresses he likes...it's from JCrew. The dress is silk chiffon and covered in lines of tiny matte sequins. No train, so it's a little less formal in my mind, even though it has sparkle.

OK, I just found my dream dress for less then half price. It's a sample I think, but I don't know for sure. It's from Vows/bridalpower.com, so I haven't seen it in person.
Anyway, I think I'm going to buy it but I can't decide if it's appropriate for our beach vr ceremony. My husband will be wearing a blazer, khakis and a tie probably and it's cocktail attire for guests. It's at night in the Fall in Florida. Our reception is outside, but NOT on the beach. It's made of laundered satin...whatever that is. :) I think it would be perfect, but I can admit I am totally biased.
What do you think? Can I buy it? Can I? Can I? Please say yes!
