We just got married at the beach during our vacation and couldn't afford buying or renting a bamboo arbor. I thought about buying bamboo stakes from the Home Depot and make on myself and i also loved the idea of using large pinwheels, but then i was just tired of planning and DIY everything, and in the end we wouldn't have been able to take it back home, so we got married without any decoration. I'm really sad about it, but can't change it now. Anyways, i still have tons of easy DIY decoration inspiration pics saved on my computer, maybe you like them.

I have seen couples use two simple potted plants/ flowers to flank the "alter"
Or, I have seen a couple use a large patio umbrella & stood under it.
Also, you could flank with tiki torches if it is an evening wedding.

So we are getting married Saturday (yes- in 5 days)! We were originally going to borrow a bamboo arbor but have come to find out its about 6hrs away in the girls father's basement. Grrr.
We can't afford to buy one so i was thinking about making flags or something to signify the alter. Any other ideas or any tips on how to do it?
We're freaking out!!!
