Look at Maggie Sottero's website. She has a whole destination, beachy wedding line. Almost all have corset backs, and they are all gorgeous!

I tried on her RD1044 last weekend and loved the way it looked but the corset KILLED! Very pretty but not something I want to wear for seven hours....and dance in.
ahhhhhh that's my favorite one from that line!!!! I think maybe you just had the corset too tight? You should be able to lace it up as loose as you want, so that you're comfortable.
I have a Maggie and the dress shop woman laced me up so tight I could barely breathe and couldn't bend at the waist. Seriously, I could not sit down. I had my MOH relace it a looser and it was totally fine.
This is pretty for a beach...also loose and flowy around the midsection

This is mine.....I also saw a few on Alfred Angelo that were nice.
The Watters WToo Celestine and Isadora make me think of the beach too

I am also having my wedding at the beach. We were going back and forth if we wanted the ceremony toes in the sand but we decided against it. We are now getting married at a country club's terrace overlooking the beach. I discovered some great things along the way.Tell the bridal consultant NO SATIN, TAFFETA, or SILK. You want lace, chiffon, or organza!!! These are the 3 lightest for the beach, in my opinion.I figured if I am sweating in the bridal shop I will be DYING in the summer heat. Pronovias has some amazing organza gowns. Maggie Sottero, Mori Lee, and Wtoo have some great chiffon gowns. My gown is from 2be and has beautiful lace and organza ruffles. See some of my previous posts for pics. Here is a picture of one Mori Lee dress that I loved when I was thinking of a toes in the sand kind of wedding. It is layered organza. Beautiful!
I'm a sucker for www.pronovias.com></cite>Pronovias. I like Tauro from the 2010 Manuel Mota collection or Galon, Galia, and Gabon from the 2010 Pronovias collection

Thank you to all that helped me decide to ditch my formal dress for something more "beachy". I have an appointment tomorrow to try on dresses but will only have about and hour and a half for my appointment so I want to go in with ideas and dress names/numbers to be prepared. I've already made sure they have Pronovias Hiedra to try on but would like other ideas. I'm 5'4", 130lbs. and in decent shape but I am self conscious of my belly so I'd like to camouflage my middle (I'm aiming for comfort so no corsets backs or spanx underneath). Ideas?!??!?
