My FI and I have only lived in MV since Sept so we aren't totally sure what the weather is like in March/April around here and are planning a beach wedding. The two optional dates are March 27th and April 17th. I am not sure if it is typically warm enough in March to have an outside wedding?! I was told this past winter was unseasonalbly cold... but I honestly can't remember what it felt like and the average temp online 66 for March doesn't mean much to me. Any suggestions? Also if anyone has tips on a good florist or baker, we don't even know where to start with those.

     Thanks!

This past winter was crazy cold in MB. I've been there several times for vacation at different times of the year, and I would say the online average you found would probably be realistic, except for this year.

I was in MB for a week in April for a conference, and I think the peak temps ranged from 50 to 60 degrees that week. I would definately lean towards the April date, I wouldn't want to be on the beach in March if next year is anything like 2009. You have a better chance for warmer weather in April I think .

I've always gone to the beach in March (in Charleston, but the weather difference isn't that big)... but it is always cold!

My friend had a beach wedding in Charleston in March, March 1st to be exact, in 2008. The weather worked out beautifully for her but it happened to be unseasonably warm that day! So I would lean towards April; the only downside is that typically it can be a little rainy in April, and the water is definitely still too cold (too cold until mid-May usually).

Good luck! I'm sure it will be BEAUTIFUL regardless!

It is usually cold at Myrtle Beach in March..and sometimes even into April. Also, this winter is looking to be a pretty cold one.

weather is always unpredictable in the spring.  Odds are that it won't bee warm, but you NEVER know.  Every spring has that random week or two of super nice weather...

The weather has been in the 60's lately so I am not too worried just hoping for now rain now that I have my warm weather!
