have you looked at Maggie Sottero destination dresses? I am buying SD5230 or 5220. They are both made out if chiffon, lightweight, and little trains (or something you can get alter if you really want nothing). They look amazing and are very beachy!
Can you not get the dress alter to fit better?
JCrew, BCBG, Jessica McClintock and Calvin Klein make some amazing, simple dresses
Also look at bridesmaid and prom dresses.
They tend not to have the trains that get in the way and you can find them in white and lighter colors.
If you realy love the pop of collor good,,, but im thinking its almost played out ,,I like the tan in the first one alot better can u do that with the dress u have or davids or somthing like that look at bridesmaids dresses in white they have very pretty dresses in white that are light weight and inexpensive ...

Hi ladies,
I'm struggling through all these huge waves of white fabric and tulle and chapel trains to find a simple wedding dress. I thought some of you could help me out and suggest some things?
I'm ok with color, and stumbled on the "ombre" style of gowns which is sorta like dyed white chiffon with color. Cute. I though of a really pale color as well.
All the gowns in the stores seem to have these long trains and I cant imagine walking along the beach in them collecting sand. Its a very simple "elope" style standing only beach wedding.
I ordered a dress from inweddingdress.com pictured here, it came in two sizes too big and I look huge in it! It is SO heavy. Back to the drawing board, I've also attached a pic of the designer dress on their site it was supposed to look like (would LOVE to know who the designer really is)
I guess I just havent found the "one" yet.
