I got married in Pebble Beach at the Fan Shell Overlook right off 17 mile drive and then had a di.ner party at a beautiful French restaurant in Carmel. It was a very small, intimate wedding.:)

Lovers Point overlooks the ocean.  You would be walking on grass instead of sand.  It is in Pacific Grove, so you would need to contact that city to reserve and pay.  It’s a few hundred dollars to rent.

Asilomar Beach is nice too.  You could have your reception across the street at Asilomar Conference Center.  You can contact the CA State Park Dept or the conference center for more details to rent and reserve.

Carmel has some pretty beaches too.  Basically, you follow the same or similar procedures to rent most of these types of places.

There are so many pretty locations in the area for a ceremony!  Lots of restaurants for a reception or hotels too.  It just depends on the number of guests and your budget.

Good luck!

@Jinjubee:  Have you looked at Gatherings in Monterey?? They were my first choice but had to have an under 75 guest list….

Definitly check out Gathering! It’s on my “check out” list! Also if you want a low cost wedding consider Tarpys resterant – also on my list.  🙂
