Weddingbee boards

Whoa~ 2 posts in 1 day! I am on fi-ya… Ha. Guess it’s easier to document when you have something to focus on?  And maybe I am speaking too soon, time will tell.

So, today’s focus is on reception table centerpieces. If our wedding is held in Hawaii I am thinking of beach themed centerpieces.

When I sit back and try to envision what I would like my reception to look like … I see romantic candles; lanterns; tiny white lights delicately placed over the trees; and a whimsical outdoor evening setting (Wow. Did I just say ‘whimsical’?! What have I become?!!! The horror!)

So with those factors in mind I settled on simple, non-flashy centerpieces and trying to keep to the whole white-black-yellow color scheme.

Does anyone out there have any suggestions for beach themed centerpieces?

Then I thought how beautiful it would be to have Roger Arquer type fishbowls as centerpieces.

I am trying to keep my budget to a minimum with the centerpieces and was wondering what other future wedding people had in mind for theirs.

I also like the idea of nature themed centerpieces (with candles of course).

This last image isn't a centerpiece, obviously!, but thought it would be a cute idea to tie into to the whole nature theme. I am channelling my inner match monster.
