Beading under arms– how to prevent chafing

I tried on a dress with beading under the arms and was very worried about that too. I asked the bridal gown consultant and she said that they often take those beads off in alterations, since no one sees that part of the gown. That answer didn’t work for me though, because people WILL see that part of the gown – for example, when your arms are around your groom’s neck during the first dance. I imagine it could be done in a way that looks okay though.

We usually rub a teeny bit of beeswax over the offending beads 🙂

Yep.  It coats the scratchy edges so they don’t irritate your skin 🙂

my dress had beading under the arms….I had no problem with chafing at all
