I think it’s nice to mix up centerpieces so they’re not all the same especially since you’ve got a ton of tables. So long as your non-floral centerpieces don’t look cheap when compared to the flowers. What do your floral centerpieces look like?

So one of my friends asked a local tech school.  They did her wedding flowers as a project and just charged her the cost of the flowers.  She used mainly roses so kept it simple, but they turned otu well.  That might not work though for a July wedding.

But you might be able to order the flowers yourself and hire a budding floral student to do the arranging on a per hour basis.

We found a fabulous florist who was reccomended by a friend. She does all her flowers at cost, minus the bride’s bouquet. Not sure how she stays in business but we’re incredibly lucky to have her
