For great shine to your hair try the following...
If your hair is dry:
let avocados rot... brown and everything and then put it in your hair. for atleast an hour, then wash it out (several shampoos). You hair will stay very shiny and well conditioned for a long while.
If your hair is oily, use beer. Soak your hair in it, sit ina chair and flip your hair in front of you, and pour the beer over your head into a pail. Be sure to comb your hair repeatedly and if possible dunk your head in the pail. let the beer sit in your hair for about 1 hour before washing it out. It will leave your hair super shiney.
Hopefully you don't keep it in your kitchen, but I apply Pepto Bismol to my face. I use a makeup pad and rub a layer all over my face and leave it on for about 15 minutes. Rinse it off and you're left with glowing skin (not from the pink!). I've been told it's because it helps to sooth any cracks or marks in your skin as it coats it - much like it coats your stomach lining. It helps your face appear smoother and dewy soft!
anyone tried egg whites in the hair? I have heard of it but never tried it
The avocados rotting thing sounds way gross...why would you put rotten fruit in your hair??
The avocado thing is gross but if you have dry, very dry and coarse hair like I do, it's the best deep conditioning treatment out there. It makes hair supple smooth shiney and soft. Gross but works great.
Egg whites I heard works great for styling hair if mousee or gel aren't available.
oh i wouldn't want to leave the eggs on! I have tried the beer thing, my mom said i smelled like a fraternity.

Hi girls! A day at the spa is great...someone else doing your nails and maybe getting a facial or a massage is so relaxing. Of course, most of us can't do that on a weekly basis, its too expensive! But there's lots of stuff in the kitchen that make great beauty products for much less!
I mix white sugar with olive oil to make an exfoliant. Also, whipped egg whites are a really great mask if you leave it on for about fifteen minutes.
