I was supposed to have an HSG today, per the instructions, last evening I took an HPT and it was postive. We had just started infertility workups after 13 months of trying, so it was so unexpected, that this morning after night shift, I ran to Walmart, and picked up a digital test, and took 3 more tests this morning (LOL)! ALL are positive! Best guess, I think we will be due around May 1st!
I have some concerns, because I had been started on progesterone to jump start my period, but I think all that means is that I will have to take it through my first trimester.
I am just bursting right now, I wish I could tell the world, but we have decided to wait until we have seen/heard the heartbeat to make it public for now, so I am just sharing with you girls!
Congrats congrats congrats! What amazing news!!!!! I wish you the best!
Congrats that is awesome. I can tell you. You hit the jackpot with the time that you got pregnant. My son was born May 15th. It is great. Fall and winter pregnancies are so much better than summer ones. All my friends preggo in the summer were miserable!! It wont be so hot for you!! Yay!!
After that many positive tests, I'd say you're pregnant!! Congrats!!
Congratulations! I'm so excited for you!
Thanks for all the well wishes ladies!
I could slap my fertility specialist right now (or his recpetionist). I called this morning with the situation and was assured that the receptionist would speak to him, and call me back about the prometrium, but the office is closed now and I haven't heard back. I have called my family doctor to see if he can help me, because i took my last prometrium tabs this morning, and if I don't take any tomorrow I am terrified that I will miscarry the pregnacy. If I don't hear from my family doctor soon, I am going to go sit in emergency until they can help me.
Thank you guys so much! I am happy to report that I got 3 more weeks of prometrium, and a bHCG test run by my family doctor. I totally didn't need that stress today, but I am so so relieved!
Me and DH are in shock, we were just looking up our insurance coverage for fertility meds and procedures a few days ago, we still have our paperwork and requisitions for our fertility testing sitting on our kitchen island, I haven't moved them yet, because I can almost not believe it. I have also left the pregnancy tests sitting on our bathroom counter, because in a wierd way they re-assure me.
I can totally see myself doing more trsts just to watch the line get darker (and since I have about 20 test strips, and another digital test sitting in the bathroom I might as well use them)
