Well, I read the first 2 & can’t do any more! I’m always alone until approximately 3am when me husband gets home. I sometimes already get scared to go out of my bedroom after watching the news, but now…it’s on a whole other level of terror!

RenoSweeney24:  great, now I’m curious!  I’m either going to wait for my husband to get home or for the morning, though!

Thanks for the link. I love ghost stories. I’ve been reading the No Sleep subreddit all month. Unfortunately, I don’t have any good stories. There’s supposed to be a ghost in my grandmother’s house, but I’ve never seen it.

RenoSweeney24:

I’m only a few in and I keep getting the chills! It’s probablly a bad idea to continue reading these in the dark with my fiance asleep downstairs. He leaves at 3 am for work, and I am nightmare prone.

I’m going to keep reading though. haha

Is it bad that I’m going to wait until I’m in bed and the lights are off before I read this? Because that’s how I like to read my scary stories

RenoSweeney24:  Oh btw. I have a ghost story!

When I was about 14 or so my cousin and I were home alone during summer break in the house my family just moved into a few weeks prior. There was a basement with a play room/teenager hang out room that we were hanging out in. Now, attached to that room was another room, but we hadn’t been in there yet because the door was locked on the inside and my father hadn’t gotten around to removing the handle yet to get in. Everything was completely normal when all of a sudden from inside the locked room someone/thing starts POUNDING on the door so hard you could see the door shake. There was no one home, and no way anyone could have been in that room! My cousin and I just looked at each other and ran out the door and went uptown and stayed there all day until we knew my parents were home.

There were a bunch of ghostly experiences in that house..but once it was “freed” from the room nothing so agressive. Light switches going on and off (and not just flickering the actual switch would go from on to off..you’d hear the click of it and everything)…. My dog would look up at the ceiling with her fur sticking up and growl and bark ferociously.

The other super creepy experience was one day I came hom from high school, and my brother had stayed home sick that day. My parents were still at work. His room was in the basement next to the playroom so when I got home I assumed he was down there. His room was right under mine, so I could always hear him moving about. I heard him turn the radio on and play music for a while then turn it off, and then heard him vaccuuming which I thought was odd because my brother is a slob.

I eventually went downstairs to my brothers room to sharpen my pencil for homework. He is an artist so he had an electric sharpener down there. When I got to his room it was empty and the lights were off. Nobody was home. I called my dad and asked where my brother was, and he said he dropped him off at my cousins house around noon. My cousins house is over a half an hour away so there is no way he could have came home. Needless to say I was freaked out and hung outside until my family came home.

I opened the link in another window oh my phone.  Not sure I should start reading these tonight.  I need some sleep.  Seriously,  I’m scared and just don’t understand what it is I like about being scared that I continue to scare myself repeatedly.
