@classyashley:  yes and I’m pretty sure the lady bought it for herself because we didn’t get it as a gift haha

Ugh, that’s so frustrating. I bet it got scanned 4x? Also, BBB will add stuff to a registry that you don’t register for, if it’s scanned as part of the same purchase as a registry purchase.

BB&B is also probably responsibe for broken friendships and family relationships – I posted the other day about receiving a $8 gift from 5 people, I was baffled and got my a** handed to me for being baffled…  The past 2 days we’ve received the remainder of said group of 5 people’s gift (which was very generous, btw), making me look like a bridezilla. :-/  The least BB&B could’ve done was said on the packing slip “1 of 3”, etc.!!!  I feel so dumb!

I was a bit peeved at BB&B when my mom went to buy us a gift and 90% of our registry was ‘unavailable’ because it was on sale or they had removed the item. I had to pretty much re-do my registry. They called me to confirm we were still getting married and that our address was correct could they not mention I might want to ensure my items were still available? I’m not a registry stalker 🙂

Haha it’s funny how they add things to your registry if the person buys them on the same order. They added some tissues and baby wipes that someone apparently bought 🙂

My friend bought us a set of monogrammed coasters off the registry and gave them to us at our shower.  After she received them in the mail and gave them to us, she said they called her and told her that her order had been cancelled and that she’d have to re-order and pay again if she wanted to get them.  Basically, they sent them to her for free. LOL

She said she was going to get us the holder for the coasters, but that it shows it’s already been purchased, so I looked at the registry and it is showing the coasters and holder as purchased.  We might be getting two sets of coasters…drinks for 8 anyone?? LOL

@onceinalifetime122113:  omg can you imagine the evil you could wreak with this … I would buy the weirdest sh** I could find just so it would show up on someone’s registry! Too bad BB&B doesn’t sell condoms and dildos!! Wink

@classyashley:  When I got my sister’s gift, I also got myself a rug, a picture frame, and something for my dog. All four items showed up on her registry. I texted her to let her know that she is not getting that rug, picture frame and dog related item. BB&B simply does not know how to get their act together.

@HannahGrace:  Wow… I was not bitching as you so eloquently put it.  No one except you (and I don’t believe you were invited to my shower) has a problem with our plans and have been more than happy to participate.

We registered for 8 dish sets, but were given 9, so the registry said 9 out of 8. Then we got FIVE more. I just don’t think people pay that much attention. We also registered for 8 of a certain type of bowl, and we got 16… I can’t complain really, because people got us gifts and that was extremely generous. We returned a bunch of duplicates and now we have about $400 in store credit!

@mrscali13:  I REALLY hope we get that many dish sets. That’s something we really need but I’m worried people won’t get them or that we will only get like 3 sets or something! If we have a lot of credit we could use it to buy them after the wedding but they’re expensive so I’d rather people buy them for us 🙂

I’ve been having trouble with their new website. Two of the items I added to my registry online were counted twice. As in, I only wanted “1” and it put “2” as quantity requested. When I went to change this, it gave me some stupid error message and I had to call them, twice, to get them to change it back to “1”. Their new system sucks!

@mrs_pudding_pop:  Not to gang up on anyone..but you were bitching. I’m pretty sure everybody on the thread told you to get over yourself because you were upset people you didn’t invite to your wedding got you a cheap gift. Sorry to threadjack, OP, but @HannahGrace: is right.
