SO and I are in the market for new sheets and a new duvet cover. Where did you get yours (US/online retailers)? We’re looking for high quality sheets that will last for years without pearling. We’re hoping to find some that are solid white so we can bleach them (with cats it’s the preferred method) and without much sheen. For the duvet cover we’d love something with texture to it, so that the bed doesn’t look so plain with all the white, we do have a few colored pillowcases and blankets that we layer with. I also want the edges to be fairly plain preferably with a folded over look like this:
as opposed to plain stitching like this:
We don’t want to spend a ton of money either, if we had an unlimited budget we’d be getting some of the Italian sheets at Restoration Hardware. We are close to a few outlet malls, Nordstrom Racks, Neiman Marcus Last Call, etc, and have a Costco membership.

Home goods is my go to for anything “home”. Also, Overstock.com has some great bedding!

TjMaxx, Marshalls, Macy’s and Bed Bath & Beyond — I switch up our bedding all the time!

Bed, Bath, and Beyond for my bedding. The set I’m coveting now for the 2 of us is sold at Macy’s, but is way cheaper on Amazon.

I think our sheets are from Macys or BB&B. I personally don’t like buying sheets online – I need to feel them!
Duvet covers I usually get from West Elm.

Our current sheets are from Macy’s – they were from our gift registry, and holding up great!

our sheets are from target.. pretty much all of our sheets that we own are from target. the ones we are currently using are these: http://www.target.com/p/threshold-performance-sheet-set-solid/-/A-14217233#prodSlot=large_1_3. i also like the “ultra soft” sheets from that same line.

Thanks everyone; any specific brands?
We have DKNY sheets from Marshalls that we’ll be replacing, most likely to use as backups (they aren’t as thick as we’d like like). Our duvet cover balled up pretty quickly and I believe it was from TJ Maxx, Hillcrest brand.

@nineteen87: I got my sheets at Bed Bath & Beyond. The comforters I ordered from Amazon and I think Overstock. However, next time I get a new comforter, I’m definitely getting it from HomeGoods. Their prices are great.

@Westwood: +1, on the sheets AND duvet covers!

TJ Maxx/Home Goods, high thread count sheets for a great price. We currently have two sets of Ralph Lauren sheets that are so soft and have held up for a couple of years really nicely.

@nineteen87: Have you looked at Pottery Barn? I have some sheets from there and they have held up well over time.
I would NOT recommend any Calvin Klein sheets – mine are super soft but faded and pilled so easily.

I don’t know what line they are, but we are using Target sheets that are incredibly soft and comfortable. I buy from BB&B as well

@nineteen87: We have two duvets, both from Pottery Barn. Our sheets are from Target but we registed for Egyptian Cotton sheets for our wedding (just saw they were purchased!!) and those are Hotel Collection from Macys. I’m sure they’ll be amazing 🙂
