How many of your husbands hog the bed? We have a queen size bed because as of right now, we cant afford to upgrade to a king, and my husband sleeps in the dead center of the bed on his back with his arms wide open. What can I do to keep him from doing this other then waking him up every hour to make him move!!! Oh, and dont get me started on the snoring!! 🙂 (I secretly love it, most nights…)

Yes he is, but I love it because I love to sleep right up next to him. Usually he says “your too hot”…but when he invades my side, all bets are off!

Way back when we first moved in together, SO was a major bed hog too! I got back at him though. I’d purposely sleep in the middle. Eventually his sleeping self got used to someone else in the bed with him so he stopped sprawling so much. I don’t know how much of advice that is but it worked for me!

The cat is the bedhog, and we have a king size bed.

We have a cal. king. purely because it got to the point where he was sleeping on the couch about 1/2 the week because he sleeps in the middle of the bed, but can’t stand making contact. Honestly, it saved our relationship!

I’m the one who takes over our bed! Whoops!

I’m the bed hog in our relationship! We have a queen at the moment and we can’t wait til we are able to get a king.

FH is a bed hog. I usually get just enough room on the queen size bed for my body to fit on sideways and he takes all the rest. We want to upgrade to a king sometime in the future because some nights I can’t even turn over.

We have a queen too and we used to have the bed hog issue. We both gently push each other over, if it’s in the middle of the night, 😉 or say “hey, look where the edge of the bed is!” – now, we both kind of embrace our own sides and leave a gap in the middle. We recently went on vacation and it was funny because in the big, huge king bed, we both slept on our own ‘edges’ and had this big huge space in the middle 🙂

We are both guilty of bed hogging at times, but we both love snuggling so it’s ok with us… until the summer months when he starts to sweat like a water fountain!!

Totally – he sleeps in the middle of the bed and loves to drape his legs over me. I wake up and push him over. We’re in a queen and probably won’t upgrade (old house, small room!) but I guess it’s even because I steal the covers every night 🙂

These are funny to read! Nice to know that Im not the only one at night waking my husband up to move him over! Im just going to start jumping over him and moving to the other side of the bed when he takes my side. And to the one who said their hubs sleeps with his leg draped over you, I completely understand, I get the same thing and an arm!!

Our puppies are the REAL bed hogs (or bed dogs as we call them) but Darling Husband is guilty of this too! I put a pillow in between us at about our knees and it seems to help him from moving over too much duing the night.

I’m a bedhog, dog is a bedhog, some nights I get up to go pee and see Darling Husband sleeping on a tiny sliver of the bed and I feel terrible. I can’t help it though! I’m a very complicated sleeper. And the dog…well it is almost as though he competes with me for the most bed space. Lately he has been sleeping parallel to me to literally we take up the entire bed.

Fiance says I’m a bed hog and when I sleep on my back I snore and wake him up. But I get up before him on work days and the second I’m out of that bed hes sleeping like a starfish in the center. We have a queen sized bed cause hes so tall even though his toenails still make marks on the end of the bed lol. I never said that.
