My FI and I had purchased my future FIL's bed at Sleepy's. They helped us out a lot and were trying to throw in many deals for us, so it worked out.

If you have one, stop by.

This sounds so weird but feel me out lol.  I have a Dormia memory foam mattress - the bed is incredible (although very expensive...I am lucky and had a friend who was a dealer)  MY FI loved mine so much (when we werent living together) that we wanted memory foam as well.  We got a reccommendation from someone to chek out walmart.com for their cali king memory foam mattress.  We checked it out, it was CHEAP (as far as mattresses and memory foams go) so we bought it for him.  The thing is amazing.  Its now in our guest room, but will come to ours when we move and mine will go in the guest room.  SO comfy!  worth a try (ours is the 12" thickness)

Also, I love the memory foam bed. My FI and I have the Sealy Posturepedic Memory foam mattress that we bought from Raymore & Flannigan. I don't remember the brand of mattress we bought for my FI but it too was a memory foam.

There is something about the memory foam that does wonders for all 3 of us. I no longer wake up with back pains. When my FI's herniated disc is acting up he lays on the bed to soothe it. Also, my future FIL has had many strokes so his body is almost always in pain. He raves about the memory foam mattress.
