Hi, I'm a 26 yr old internal consultant for a financial firm in NYC.
I am recently engaged to my 27yr old college sweetheart (we've been together 6 1/2 yrs) and we are getting married in Maine next September.
We have one cat and a 29 gallon fish tank in our NYC apartment. As well as one of FI's groomsman who's been splitting is time between our couch and another friend's couch since August. Good thing he's an easy house guest!

I'm a 20 year old Psychology student who lives in Chicago with my wonderful fiance whom I've been with for just over 6 years. We love cooking together, walking our Australian Shepherd, Sunday, around the city, going to yoga, and exploring new places in Chicago.

No photos on the work computer, but I will chime in :) 21 year old Administrator and Safety Coordiantor for an oilfield company (law student by night as well!). FI is a 24 year old oilfield firefighter. We plan to move to a large city after the wedding in April so that he can transfer to a municiple fire department and so I can finish law school!
We love taking advantage of the beautiful British Columbia outdoors and you'll find us off-roading, hiking, boating, and geo-caching on weekends with our pup Maximus :)

I just finished up my masters degree in professional counseling and FI will obtain his MBA in December. Currently, he works for a MLB team in our area. Our wedding is on September 17, 2011. Ooh fun! I'm a 24 year old social worker/mental health counselor (will hopefully be getting my license sometime in the next 6 months!) who just got married about a month ago. DH is 25 and works in finance. We've been together for a little over 3 years, although we've known each other for over a decade--we went to middle school together :) We live in NYC and lately my new obsession has been trying to convince DH to let us get a puppy. He's horribly allergic, so I'm not sure how well it'll work out!
Hi! I am a 24 year old wedding director for a floral shop. I have a degree in culinary arts. My fiance works for professional baseball. We live with our puppy, Toby. We are buying some property and building a house next year after the wedding! :-)
I'm 31 and a costumer/seamstress/artist. He's 33 and an animator. We're planning our garden wedding for June 5, 2011 and keeping our fingers crossed that it won't be too hot!
I am a 23 year old New Product Specialist for an intellectual property company (I do marketing for new inventions) and SO is a 25 year old Engineer specializing in electronics. SO and I have been together for 5.5 years and we will be moving in together within a month. We currently do not have any pets, and unfortionately the apartment we will be moving in to does not permit pets. But we are huge animal lovers, SO is considering going back to school for biology so he can work with animals. We are also HUGE hockey fans, our favorite team is the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I'm a 22 year old full-time student majoring in Secondary Education in the area of Theatre with a specialization in costuming and a part-time manager for Victoria's Secret, FI is also 22. He is active duty Air Force, but I cant really say what he does due to OPSEC rules. We've been together for about 4 1/2 years, we were high school sweethearts. We both love music, movies and video games. We are huge nerds who love sci-fi conventions and LARPing.
And we're getting married this weekend!

I'm a 25 year old Engineer and FI is a 24 year old accountant. We live with our 10 month old puppy, Leroy, and our wedding is coming up quick!
I am a 22 year old Business Systems Analyst for an Investment Firm in Pittsburgh. I'm originally from south-eastern Massachusetts but moved here to go to school (Duquesne University) and couldn't leave the amazing cost of living. Fi and I met in the spring of 2009 - he was a full time employee and I was an intern at the company that we both now work at and we hit it off quickly and started dating last May. We moved in together last September and spent a month and a half in a tiny 1 bedroom apartment before moving into our house that we live in now (which he owns). Fi is a 25 year old SQL Database Administrator and we spend most of our time hanging out with our 3 dogs (Gabby, Dudley, Tyson) and 2 cats (Charles and Louie).
Oh, and I have brown hair now, lol.

I love this website!!!...Hi I'm a 25 year old industrial engineer currently working in Supply Chain at Whirlpool in St. Joseph, MI and my FH is 26 working on his master's at Michigan State Univeristy. We're getting marriend next September 17th in Lansing, MI. We've been together for 10 years..yep since I was 15 years old with a few bumps along the way but we've finally made it :-)

Hi ladies - sorry I don't have pics on my work computer! I am 23 years old and my FI is 25. We are both Materials Engineers. We live together and have four fish - two red turquoise discus (named Margaret and Walter), a tiger discus (named Bruce) and a blue diamond discus (named Neil, obviously haha!). We also have two white freshwater shrimp that live in our tank (named Jean-Phillipe and Joelle)...we did have two red ones name Jacque (from Finding Nemo) and Jacquline, but I think they got eaten by the fish. Not sure though. AND we will be getting married next July! Haha...have a great day ladies :)
@KatNYC2011: I've given on up trying to explain it to people. I try to explain it as "a liason between the business unit and the IT department" and if they don't get it after that I just give up. At first my mom thought I was a developer (because I went to school for Management information systems) and now I think she's under the impression I actually work in investment management, lol.

I'm a 25 year old marketing director in a long-distance engagement (soon-to-be long distance marriage) with my 26-year old Army combat medic FI. A long distance relationship, followed by a long distance engagement has been the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but he's totally worth it. We met a year ago through a mutual friend and have traveled over 30,000 miles to see one another and build our amazing relationship.
We're planning for a wedding on March 25, 2011 at the same garden my parents were married in 30 years ago.
Those of you with your FIs, DHs, or SOs within arms reach, give them a hug and truly appreciate how lucky you all are :)

@MandaMack: Haha I TOTALLY hear you there.
My mom finally "kind of" got it when I said that we evaluate the systems and processes that sales (the business) uses and then figure out how to make them better either by changing the process or updating the system.
@KatNYC2011: hahahaha. I've given up on my mom. My dad never tried to understand, he would just say "you have a job? you're doing well? they pay you? Okay, then I'm happy" lol.
@MandaMack: Haha, that's basically how my parents feel too. They also want to make sure I like it. Although my mom gets asked "what I do" and has no way to explain it. So every time she sees me, she asks again.
@MandaMack: I was a business analyst at a top IT firm and i hated the generic title and trying to explain to my friends what i did on a day to day basis. it changed day to day, so it made it that much harder.
and now i'm a "consultant." LOL one generic title to the next.
Ok I'll chime in.
I'm a 25 year old Mathematics Lecturer at one of the California State Univeristies. I also hire and coordinate all of the mathematics tutors at the tutoring center and within the Math Dept. Currently I teach statsitistcs but I really love teaching the Remedial Mathematics Courses. Diverboy is 24 and owns his own buisness in boat maintence. FH and I live on the Central Coast, with our lab/rot mix. She's a little cross eyed and doesn't have a tail but she's so loving, and so cute!
Our wedding is planned for October 8th, one week short of our 6 year dating anniversary. We are getting married at a California Historic site, in a garden. Our theme is antique and elegant, we're trying to use lace and pearls etc.

OK, not really. I am 28 and work in financial services in northern California. My fiance is 30 and is a PhD student, studying educational policy, which is mostly stats, econ, and banging his head against the wall (but he loves it). We're both from the NY area originally, and dragging our families out west for our wedding next September.
I am part tomboy, part geek girl, and part snooty intellectual. He's mostly a snooty intellectual, but he's better than me at sports. I am a Jets fan and he is a Patriots fan, so most of our arguments are about football or chores. We love dogs, but don't have one. We love travel, but spend all our vacations back in New York. I guess we just love our families more!

Hello Bee's! I'm [almost] 24, my FH [Mr.TKE] is 25. We've been together since May 2007. We have a year for our wedding as 2012. I proposed to FH on our 9 month anniversary at a bar in downtown.
I am a department manager at Hobby Lobby, he works from home developing his own business. Our lease specifically states no pets, except no pets so we have potted plants :)

I am a 25 year old student, graduating with my bachelors in May and hoping to go onto get a Masters in Education shortly after that. I would eventually like to teach middle school or higher. My FI is a 24 year old commercial fisherman. We started dating in March of 2005 and were engaged in the middle of August! We live on Cape Cod, MA and love it here. It's where we both grew up, but we wouldn't dream of living anywhere else. We love to spend time with friends and family, cuddle on the couch watching a movie, or watch New England sports teams (Celtics season opener is tonight!).
@Entangled: I went to boarding school there and those years were the best of my life (well you know, until I met FH of course, lol) The state holds so many special memories and then there is its beauty! The quaint towns, the chapels on the green, the stone walls, the hills, the fact that while driving along every single back road you feel as though its an endless panoramic postcard. The calm relaxed non pretentious 'neihborhood' feel you get in each small town. Or when you walk into the grocery store while your car is still on...I just LOVE Ct, haahaahaaa I keep telling FH our second home will be there
Ooh, this is fun! We're both 26 year old graduate students. We got engaged earlier this month and are planning for a wedding in early June of 2012. I know this is probably way too soon to be getting so excited about all the planning, but I can't help it! For those of you with long engagements, how did you space things out?

FI and I are both 25. He is an engineer and I am working until I go back to school for psychology. We met in a volunteer organization in 2004 and started dating a year later. We spend most of our time planning our January wedding, but also like spending time with our families, hanging around NYC, cooking and veggin' out on the couch.

I am 24 years young and I work as a catering director at a restaurant here in town. I get to see lots of weddings in action so I get lots of ideas from my job heheheheh. My FI is a teacher and a coach andhe works A LOT!
We are currently saving, saving, saving for our dream destination wedding on Isla Mujeres, Mexico and we plan to get married barefoot in the sand with our closet family and friends to witness

I'm 22 and graduated this past spring with a degree in Marketing. Currently working scanning documents for some attorneys as I search for a real career! My FI is 26 and a Financial Advisor. We have been dating since Feb 2007 and got engaged last Feb. We met up at school (GO GATORS), but found out we were both from the same area and had attended the same elementary school (obviously a few years apart).
We just got our e-pics taken Monday I will have to update once our sneak peak is up!

Hi, I'm a 25 year old mental health counselor, and FI is 25 as well, and a retail manager. We live in Chicago, and love it to bits. We've been dating since April, 2005, engaged September 2010. Wedding is August 2011! We have two dogs, and instead of a picture of us, I'll kill you with their cuteness. :) They're both shelter babies, the Lab mix is 4 and the Australian Shepard mix is 3.

@IlsaLund: love seeing Aussies and Aussie mixes! We're in Chicago, too, and trying to get our 2 year old Aussie rescue to warm up to other dogs. We took her to the dog park tonight and poor thing was still completely overwhelmed!

I'm a 24-year-old copy editor at a newspaper. The BF is a 30-year-old news director at a radio station. We live in Fort Wayne, IN but are on the lookout for opportunities elsewhere. We met online in May of 2009 and been inseperable ever since. It turned out we lived across the street from each other! We moved in together in August and it has been wonderful! We have a cat and are looking to get a puppy dog! And yes, BF knows about The Bee and loves that I have found it and can talk wedding all the time and not bore him to tears. :D
