Hi! I’m Lindsay πŸ™‚ I am 23, and getting married on New Years Eve. I work as a hotel manager. FI is 24 and works for professional baseball.

I have a degree in culinary arts, so you can call me Chef Lindsay (please don’t though. LOL!)

I love: Italian food, The Food Network, bridal magazines, starbucks, Coach bags, Sephora, my iPhone.  I love my little cousin and flower girl Morgan like she was my own child.

We have a crazy silky terrier named Toby.  He is my baby.

I wouldn’t trade my life for anything in the world.  I cannot wait to marry my best friend!

Hi! I’m OttawaBride – I just turned 25 a couple of months ago! FI and I have been together for just over 3 years, and engaged for about 8 months. We’re having a lonnnng engagement (22 months).

I work as an engineer at a large military contractor. FI is an accountant!

We have a little welsh terrier puppy:

And we just moved into our first house about a month a go!

I also LOVE watching HGTV and my favorites are “Property Virgins” and “The Unsellables”! I love hockey (Go Sens go!), and a nice cold BEER (Alexander Keith’s!). But I’m also pretty girlie too πŸ™‚

Hi! I’m (the future) mrsmdphd.  I’m 23, a PhD student in Education (focus in Higher Education Policy), and the only person I know who is going to be in school longer than me (I’ve got another 5 years) is my FI.  He is an MD/Phd student, so he’s got another 7 years, and that’s just the class work before he starts his residency and then his post-doc.  Crazy kid.  We’ve been together about 5 1/2 years, been engaged for a year, and we’re getting married in less than 2 months!

We live in Nashville, TN though we’re both transplants…FI’s from Oklahoma and I’m a New Mexico girl (heading back there this afternoon for a bridal shower!).  We bought our first home together last summer, a swanky condo that we’re not cool enough to live in, and we share it with our very weird cat, Hermes.  Hermes is almost 2 years old and has travelled across the country with us.  He enjoys the tops of bookshelves and peeing in the toilet.

I enjoy dance, mostly the classics: ballet, jazz, modern, lyrical…though I’ve recently taken up Irish Step Dancing.  I’m also about to start Aikido on the suggestion of my FBIL.  I’m also obsessed with musical theater and karaoke (FI vetoed a karaoke reception, much to my dismay).  I want to BE Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls) and I own every season of GG…have seen each episode over and over and over and over.  Sad, I know.

I’m Dana. This is me and the boy:

We live in downtown Philadelphia. I am an account manager at a digital advertising agency and the boy works as admin support in a design studio.

I was born and raised in the Philly suburbs and have lived in the area for most of my life, except for when I lived in Boston for one year. The boy is from Ohio but went to college in central PA and moved to Philly after graduation.

We love our beagle as if he were our own son.

My main hobby (although it’s more like a job) is the fashion blog that I run (and which I’m not allowed to link to here). I also love reading, good movies,  thrift store shopping, listening to all the music I can, and drinking booze on patios.

@OttawaBride – Of COURSE I do!  There was a lot going on in that episode….I definitely start feeling awkward with the Dean breaking up with Rory bit…but the part with Rory and Jess on the bridge is AH-dorable.  I always secretly liked them together better than her other boyfriends.  But the whole episode is great with the outfits, and the disgusting sandwiches that Mrs. Kim makes from god knows what….it’s all genius!  I don’t know if I could pick a favorite episode!!

MissAsB

I’m currently 22, was 21 when I got married.  We got engaged in June 2006 and were married June 6, 2009.  We bought our first house in April 2007.  It is now a rental property.

My husband traveled a lot as a kid because his dad was in the military.  I grew up in a town you have never heard of in NJ.

After getting married, we moved in AL for my husband’s job.  I started graduate school last fall.

I love Gilmore Girls and Harry Potter!

@missjyc – YAY!  We should start a club!

@Ottawa – This might be taking my crazy a little too far, but I decided (in my head) that after the show ended, she ended up with Jess.  It was the best fit, as far as I was concerned.  Especially once he got his sh** together.  I def want to go home and watch some too, but I’m going home to visit my parents!
