Just weighed: 166.5!
Proud of: Made a healthy crock pot meal and ate the leftovers for DAYS
What I could have done better: Should have gone for more walks. I think my weight loss was due in large part to healthy eating and breastfeeding alone. But hey, I’ll take it!

I just weighed in at: 173! So two pounds down!
I think it was due to taking a zumba class every night, but this week I’ve got to focus on staying under my calorie goal. I do super good during the day, but then at night tend to snack a lot and it really adds up. I’m going out of town this weekend so it’s going to be hard to know how many calories are in everything when we eat out.

nutmeg5512: Here’s the recipe! It calls for a pork roast but I used a Jennie-o turkey tenderloin. Also, I didn’t make the gravy at the end of the recipe. You certainly don’t need it!
1 (2-3 pound) boneless pork roast
2/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese
1/2 cup honey
3 Tbsp soy sauce
2 Tbsp dried basil
2 Tbsp minced garlic
2 Tbsp olive oil
1/2 tsp salt
2 Tbsp cornstarch
1/4 cup cold water
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray. Place roast in slow cooker. In a small bowl, combine the cheese, honey, soy sauce, basil, garlic, oil and salt; pour over pork. Cover and cook on low for 6-7 hours or until a meat thermometer reads 160°.
Remove meat to a serving platter; keep warm. Skim fat from cooking juices; transfer to a small saucepan. Bring liquid to a boil. Combine cornstarch and water until smooth. Gradually stir into pan. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Slice roast; serve with gravy

I’m down a pound, not as much as I’d like but still down. New weight: 163.4
Post # 12
boo, stayed the same at 175.8
Definitely need to eat better, although I am slowly cutting out the sweets and even said, “no” to dessert when eating out last night.
And of course, need to work out more, my excuse all last week was I had to catch up on work at home, but then I kept on delaying work and ended up not working out or working. I have no excuse not to work out, my office has a gym and is 5 minutes away from home; I have a free one month trial membership to a fancy gym; and there are lots of hiking trails within 10 minutes of my house.
Thanks to all for the recipes and group support!

nutmeg5512: I weighed in at 139, so down a pound! I’m trying to get down between 130 and 135, and I’m trying to cut a good bit too, muscle-wise. So I don’t know if I’ll end up losing weight or gaining it because of that but here’s to a happy medium 🙂
Something I’m proud of: Mr. H and I have been clean eating for quite a while now, but in the last week we cut out all added/unnatural sugars. Basically: yes, we get sugar from fruits and some vegetables, but we are no longer consuming any sugar besides what occurs naturally in our produce. I can’t wait to see the results of making this cut!
Also, GREAT JOB ladies!!! I love this thread, and definitely really thankful that we can motivate each other! 🙂

Starting weight was 269.4
Was retaining a lot of water! So had to start diuretic.
Current weight: 259.8
Proud that I took diuretic everyday, I also made a healthy crockpot meal (recipe below). Things I was not good about: Going to the gym. Our weather has been very muggy and it did not inspire me to go, but I really need to just get in there!!
Unstuffed cabbage roll: large capacity crock pot
1 small head of cabbage (cut into small squares)
1.5 lb 85/15 ground beef (browned) or use other low fat variety or ground turkey or ground chicken (I am increasing this next time as it didn’t seem enough meat per serving)
1 large sweet onion chopped
1 garlic clove (I used 2 tbls of garlic powder instead)
Sea salt to taste (I skipped this)
Black pepper to taste
1/2 cup of chopped carrots
1 cup of corn
2 small cans of diced tomatoes with juice from can(I used onion garlic basil flavor low sodium)
REcipe calls for can of tomato sauce, i used it and ended up having to drain alot out it was too much, I skip it next time.
I cooked on high for 4 hrs and low for 2 hrs…you can vary for your own purposes (Like low for 8)
