Our wedding has been paid off months in advance but our parents are paying for all of it. It will be around 20K for the wedding, then we are paying 4K for the honeymoon which we paid off a year in advance.

My BF and I have already discussed wedding costs with our parents. We are very lucky that my father set up a fund for me when I was younger, to use towards college/a home/a wedding. Im hoping to only use that money to pay for the venue, and do everything else out of pocket.

Our plan was to get married next spring, so its going to take some strict budgeting!

My FI is paying for our wedding. We had a long engagement ( 2 ) so that gave him enough time to save up for it. We are having a pretty small and intimate destination wedding. Our wedding party is just 2 flowers girls and 2 ring bearers, my fiance and me. I hired a wedding planner though but I did a lot of DIY since I have a lot of free time. He set $10K just for the ceremony and reception for 20 people ( which as of now is almost $3K over). He also paid for my wedding dress, accesories, we had to take dance lesson too for our first dance and for his suit which isn’t part of the budget ($3K). If I add it all up including the our ring (engagement and wedding band) ($10K) it will total to atleast $26K. And he is paying it cash :D.. No debt for us too

No debt here.  We received a bit of help from my mom (my dress, the flowers, and the cake), but the bulk of costs were paid by my husband and I.  It was around 25K total.

No debt here. We’re paying for it ourselves and didn’t want to owe any money, so we kept our budget small. I think we’re at a little over $6000.

Yep, paid in full wedding! I know that we would not enjoy ourselves if we had debt hanging over our heads. If I couldn’t comfortably pay for my wedding, I’d march to city hall and get hitched for $75!

Our wedding is going to cost about $25k by the time everything is said and done.  We (mainly me because I make significantly more than he does) are paying for it ourselves in cash just with surplus cash each month- not taking from savings or putting on credit card.
