Okay so I was 95% sure when I put the deposit down, during the first visit to this bridal shop. I didnt even think i was going to find ”the” dress at this store, this was the last one I tried one, and then BAM, i started thinking: this might be the one! I am very indecisive and it takes me forever to decide on anything… Honestly, I have a hard time imagining myself feeling 100% on anything regarding this wedding, too many ”what ifs” fill my head. This dress made me cry tears of joy for crying out loud, just imaging walking down the aisle in it and my husband to be seeing me in it, my face grew red like a tomato and tears started pouring out. I originally wanted a poofy fairytale dress and tried on like 10 of them, maybe more. None of them really cut it except for one that was $10,000 (WAY over by budget, it was Vera Wang). I didn’t see myself finding something that good for within my budget, it was very unique. This dress is beautiful and everyone loves it, including me, but its not what i originally wanted, so its easy for me to second guess. All the poofy dresses kinda didnt do much for me, and this form fitting one was a real hit… Anyways, thoughts? My mother says this dress makes me look like a woman instead of a girl, and my friend says that she sees ME, instead of just a big dress. I would really appreciate some feedback please :). Do you like it?

This dress is gorgeous! Your figure looks amazing in it! I also love how the skirt evokes some of that “princess ballgown” feel without taking away from you (your friend is 100% right). Love it 🙂

Did any of the more poofy dresses make you teary eyed? I think that really is a good thing to go by… when you put this dress on, you could SEE YOURSELF in it, walking down the aisle to your Fiance. Sometimes the images we have in our head just don’t match up with what works and what we like in reality.
And on that note… you look SO GOOD in this dress! It is just stunning on your figure. And I think the dress manages to be classic yet has a “fairytale” element with the detail on the bottom. Beautiful 🙂

i agree with your mom and friend. sometimes we have a vision in our head but in reality, it doesn’t work. you tried on multiple puffy dresses but they weren’t the one. trust your gut instinct. a wedding dress isn’t like any other dress so you did the right thing by trying on what you thought would work to see for yourself. that dress is gorgeous, romantic and feminine. you are wearing the dress, it’s not wearing you.

I thought I wanted a big poufy ball gown, but when I tried them on it wasnt me. I had to realize what is important is looking and feeling beautiful, not sticking to a vision. Your dress looks amazing on you.
