Hi, what made that day so special that you got all your candy 50% off at those stores? Just perfect timing of a sale?

It was most likely right after Easter, when candy is all on sale. Sometimes after major candy holidays the candy will go on sale the day after (Halloween, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Easter, etc.)

kristen182:  I would look at wholesale wedding websites to look for the types of candy you want. A big favorite of brides is sixlets in her wedding colors. Those sugar/crystal looking suckers etc.

kristen182:  When in Oct is your wedding? Because some places will be putting candy on sale a week or so before Halloween.

Tanleggedjuliet:  yeah, i’ll be keeping an eye out. It’s Oct 25, but I rather try and make sure I have all my candy before the last minute 🙂

kristen182:  I understand. I am just buying a little here and there. That helps. Around Halloween they always have those huge bags of stuff too. My mom and I got all the candy for my cousin’s wedding last Sept and we bought about 10 of those bags and had plenty of candy.
