YAYYY! This is the hardest part now, knowing it’s so close but not knowing when! My engagement ring only took 4 days to be resized. Be patient, paint your nails and let us know how it goes!! xx

2 weeks is the standard time! That’s how long it’s going to take my wedding band to be resized.

@NicoleLyn1218:  It was sized up, from a 6.75 to an 8. My fingers swell horribly. I actually need a 7.75 but get the 8 to cover the swell factor.

My ring was sized this week from a 4.5 to a 6.25 they also had to add gold and fix a few dimonds due to the fact it was a family ring! He took it in wends afternoon and picked it up on Sat morning! So Just a few days if he takes it today he can have it friday for sure!

@NicoleLyn1218:  Oh that’s SO exciting!!!  I dropped my RHR off to be resized the same day we ordered my E-ring and was given a 2 week turnaround time for the resize.

I am nervous that the e-ring we ordered won’t fit too, since when the jeweler sized me he wanted to go lower in size even though I told him how much my fingers tend to swell.  Plus I worry that the split shank setting we picked will need to be a bit bigger than the small sizing ring.  I’ll be beside myself if after waiting the 3 weeks to have it made I have to wait another 2 to have it resized!

@NicoleLyn1218:  My RHR was a 9.5, having it resized to an 8.5 since it was falling off & I couldn’t wear it anymore.  Decided to have it rhodium plated too since it’s over 10 years old and the white gold had taken on a yellow gold tint.  That could be partly to blame for the 2 week turnaround for that ring.

We ordered a 7.5 for my E-ring (based on recomendations from 2 different jewelers).  I was hesitant, but finally agreed.  The e ring had to be custom made to fit our stone & it should hopefully be done in the next week or so, and hopefully it fits.  We ordered the wedding band at the same time so I hope they fit together.  I’m super anxious for it to get here, because even though he wanted me to choose my ring, he wants to wait for it to get here to ask my dad, so we have to wait until then to officially be engaged.

Also, one of my good friends just got engaged and needed her ring sized up.  Her jeweler was able to get it done in 2 or 3 days since they knew she was newly engaged and anxious to have it back.
