Aw! Your little guy was a good size for being so early! It must have been tough to have him in the NICU for that long 🙁

My DD was 5lbs 5oz I was 38w 4d pregnant when I gave birth.

She was diagnosed with IUGR, likely because of the stress my body was under from hydronephrosis. She was healthy when born, but developed jaundice and we stayed in hospital for 6 days.

That being said, both DH and I were also in the 5-6lb range when we were born.

My daughter was born on her due date weighed 7lbs 3oz

My son was 2 days past his due date and was a whopping 9lbs 10oz

I read that there is a strong correlation between the mother’s birthweight and the baby’s birthweight.  Is that true for any of you?
