I traveled more than 6 hours to try the dress on before I bought it online… But I realize that might not work for everyone.

Many brides don’t get to try on the dress of their choice in their size. They either have to try on a dress that is too big or too small, or only try on a similar style.

if there is in stock, I would at least go and see it.  If it is big, no problem – try it on and pinch in the back to see how the front is on you…if its small, try to fit it in and just dont close it at the back, but at least you would have seen the material and colour and the style.   I took 2 flights to try on my wedding dress!  I couldnt risk ordering the dress and not like it!  The shop then gave me a discount to compensate for the flights.  You can always discuss it with the shop maybe they would give you some sort of discount to will never know until you ask!

I found the dress i loved but it was not my size. What I did is to look for a BM who is the same size as the dress and let her try it on just to see the dress on someone even if she’s a different body type. Or you can look for a smiliar dress like same cut but different material and try it on. There is always the risk but no risk no fun 😀 that’s how i ordered my dress. It will rrive in 2 months yayyyy
