Thanks in advance for your advice!!
Okay, so in march I bought my wedding dress!! Its Allure 8919. The only thing is after speaking with my Fiance about my dress, I dont know if its “the one” anymore. I mean im in love with it, and i had that OMG moment, but I feel like i need to try on more to be sure. The only thing is, if I find another dress to top mine, do you think the bridal salon will put my deposit towards another dress in there store, if need be?
Thanks in advance.
P.S here are a few pictures of me in my allure wedding gown!!

I love that dress. But what about it is making you feel like it’s not “the one?” Did your FI say something that would make you think he won’t like it?

Yes he said he doesnt want it to be plain, so im worried hes not going to love it. Even though he says he will love anything on me

I think you look gorgeous in the dress if you had that feeling that its the one then I would leave it be. I agree with the PP did your FH say anything to change your mind?
I didn’t discuss how my dress look with my fiance because he should be surprised when I’m walking down the aisle.

Lovely dress btw. Could this be normal dress regret or do you feel like your never gave dress shopping a chance. I’ve had nearly 5 months of dress regret now and it sucks but I just think of why I love the dress and how great it will be post alterations. Check with your salon about changing your dress or ask if you can go try on the sample again which may make you feel better if it is the dress. Good luck

Your dress is gorgeous!!!

But, if you are having second thoughts, the store where I bought my dress allowed deposit transfers to another dress as long as no alterations had been done. You should ask them. The dress you have is beautiful though, understated and elegant!

Wow, I think that dress is gorgeous, and most definitely not plain!!! It has ruching, rhinestones, and a big bow… I don’t know how that could be considered plain?

It does not look plain. Besides, even if its not at glitzy as you think it should be, it allows your beauty to shine through.

I think the dress is really beautiful.
If you’re still really concerned I would call the store (but maybe wait for a weekday when they’re not busy) and find out their policy.

In my opinion, that dress does not look plain. It doesn’t have a lot of detailed beading all over it, but I think that’s what makes it even prettier. Why don’t you try swapping out the sash if you think that will make a difference? Even if it’s attached you can always remove it and add something blinger? That back detail is just gorgeous. It’s possible your FH would think it’s plain, but in my experience most guys just make statements about fashion or wedding gowns and it’s just all talk. Like if you wear this dress on the day of your wedding exactly as is, he probably won’t even be thinking that the dress is plain. Plus, accessories/jewelry/hair etc. all make a big difference in the final look on the day of.

Your gown is definitely not plain! You look super gorgeous in it. I think with the right accessories, you will really shine and your FI will never think of you as ‘plain’
