What about the strap? Im not crazy about it, I was thinking about removing it, if I chose that one... Thats really the only thing I didnt love about the dress.

Oh and I forgot to metion the lace dress is almost twice the price of the ruffle one lol

I think if you remove the strap you should alter it to a sweetheart neckline, just my personal opinion!

For some reason I really like the lace. However if you go with the ruffle dress, can you make the neckline a sweetheart? If you're removing the strap anyway I think that would really add a lot to the dress.

Yes! yes! I totally agree with making it sweetheart. I made it a sweetheart with my fingers and it looked really cute

I really like the 2nd one... It seems like the 1st one would be hard to move around in but it is also very flattering.

Im all about comfort so that's just my opinion--They are both great picks!

I personally like the lace one better.  I think the first one is really trendy, and I'm not a fan of the strap and neckline.  The second one is so pretty and classic and I love the sweetheart neckline on you.  :)

You look great in both of them, but I picked the second one because I think it flatters you the most. I am also not a fan of the one shoulder strap look.

I am sorta afraid that if I picked the ruffley one, it would look out of date when I look back at my wedding photos. Kinda like puffy sleeves of the 80's, but its such a fun dress :(

I love the first one but also agree that the strap is weird. But it TOTALLY gives credit to your bodacious curves! And if its way cheaper then that is even more incentive in my book lol! Great dresses tho!

I think if you could make the first dress strapless and add a sweetheart neckline, you would LOVE LOVE LOVE it! I think it looks great as is anyway. The second dress is gorgeous too, but I think it's really the neckline that makes it look so great on you!

Depends on the look you are going for. Obviously the second one is more classic and romantic, but you certainly rock both of them. The first would be amazing with a sweetheart neckline. I am a sucker for lace, and when it looks as good as that does on you, it's hard to vote against it! The only thing holding me back from gushing that you should get it is that it is 2x the price. If that's cool and not an agonizing decision, I vote lace!

@HoneyBear: I agree with what you are thinking here...in photos I think the first will eventually look dated or very much a trend that was.  The lace dress is classic, romantic, and looks GREAT on you!  And it will probably be much more comfortable and easier to move around in than a mermaid.  I tried a few mermaids on and they looked awesome, but I just could not move around in them easily (or imagine myself wearing it all day long).  In the end, it all comes down to what you like best!!!  But for what it's worth, my vote is for dress #2.

Wow! They both look great on you! The 1st one is more of a showstopper! The 2nd is definitely more romantic, and that dress would be great for a garden wedding.  I'm leaning towards number 1 because it has more of a WOW factor!

You can't go wrong with either dress!

I love them BOTH and I think you look awesome in both. What you need to ask yourself is how you want to look on your wedding day. IMO...

Dress 1 = sexy and modern

Dress 2 = sweet and romantic

I like the second one, personally. But it's all about which one makes you feel beautiful. I'm going to try to stay away from wedding dress trends (like the "pick up" skirt and the ruffles) because in like 10-20yrs (maybe less than that, who knows!) everyone will be looking back at their wedding pics wondering wtf they were thinking when they chose their dress. You know how we all laugh at bad 80s prom/wedding dress (think shoulder pads)? That's why I am going to try to stay away from trends!

You def look great in both dresses  Wink  I chose the second dress. I think the neckline opens you up and IMO the dress flatters you more.  I think its very delicate super classy and quite elegant. You def look great in both dresses,

First off both are great so you really can't go wrong.  However, when I saw the ruffle dress I said "Wow!  She looks amazing!"  When I saw the lace dress I thought it was pretty boring and forgetable compaired to the ruffle.

I love lace, plus the second one is more elegant and flattering. The first one's a little too flamenco dancer for my taste.

Dress #1 looks great on you, but is a trendier style.  I'm thinkin' that #2 didn't photgraph great and looks better in person.  If that's the case, go #2--I love the lace!

@Georgia Bee: Yeah I think that the second one didnt photograph very well with this camera. Its almost like 2 dresses in one. It has a mermaid style dress underneath that layer of lace which was soooo pretty

Heres a pic of the model

@HoneyBear: I didn't see your comment about the strap the first time I posted and voted. I really think that you should go with the first dress without the strap and have them modify the neckline to a sweetheart. This is coming from a lady that loves loves loves lace, so it is meant sincerly because I would normally say lace all the way :-)

I voted for the lace one. I also like the sweetheart neckline. I think the first one would look better if the ruffles started further up your body.

Oops, I didn't realize the lace dress is a mermaid too until you posted pics of the model with the lace part all fluffed out.  I still vote #2 though!!!
