Lol sorry had to choose the crayons option- love it!  I also love the look you have.  I think it will fit your theme nicely.  Is there a macys, JCPennys, etc near you?  I’ve seen very similar shirts there for about $20-$50.  You could also check their online sites.

@Adams_bee:  Omg the foreveralone face make me laugh out loud.

This is so handsome, but is he going to wear a three piece suit (with the vest) or without? I can’t imagine the cap with something so formal. But truthfully I’m not very good at imagining in the first place so you may not want to listen to me.

I like everything but the cap. But if that’s your style, go for it πŸ™‚

I am with the others – I love everything but the cap. Well, I do love the cap, but not with a jacket. I think caps look cute with just vests (or even without vests, when the guys just wear a button-down shirt with suspenders). The fabric of the cap probably wouldn’t match the fabric of the suit coat, and that would probably bug me a little, but if it’s something he really wants to wear then what the heck right?!

I can’t tell from the pics if he’s planning on wearing a khaki/tan-colored suit or a gray suit. Which one? Either way, I personally prefer brown dress shoes with laces, especially for a garden wedding. My FI is wearing a gray 3-piece suit, but he is insisting on wearing black shoes – whatevs, it’s ultimately up to him.

For the shoes, I would say that if the guys are all renting shoes and it’s your choice, then choose brown. If they’re wearing shoes they already have, I would ask them to text your FI pics of their black and brown dress shoes, and see which match better… It could be that all the guys have totally different brown dress shoes and black would match the best. Or maybe you guys don’t care… groomsmen’s shoes are not the biggest deal.

Overall, I love the look! Good luck finding a shirt – there must be a department store in Malta! Or, there’s so much fashion in Italy – are there any Italian department stores that ship to Malta?

Really?  His friends are willing to wear a hat?  FH’s friends tease him mercilessly about his hats and one of the running jokes of our wedding is that we’re going to force them as groomsmen to wear hats for the wedding.  I agree with PP that the style of that particular hat isn’t very formal but if he likes it then go for it.

If he is not going to wear the jacket then yes I think it is awesome! with the jacket I agree that  the hat would not rly work the outfit.
