Oh my God the cake cutting. Let me tell you - the sword wasn't planned. I had no idea that my venue had a sword. And then I saw one when I walked up there!!! I am the girl who grew up playing with swords instead of dolls so yeah, I was so excited!!! I think my husband spent the entire time trying to rein me in lol. My husband called that picture Sinbad in a Wedding Dress.

You know the funny thing is - I read all the tips about looking elegant and glamorous and Old School Hollywoods in photographs, and I was totally going to channel my inner Grace Kelly and look elegant like all of you. But apparently
1. I have no inner Grace Kelly to channel. I am always laughing my hearts out.
2. I was so happy I forgot to pretend to be Grace Kelly.
3. Thankfully, my photographer was fabulous and she captured the joy and the moments and the looks. My silly laughing self can't really take credits for the pretty photographs - it's all her!! I was too busy laughing the whole time!!

I swear I have the most amazing photographer ever. I wanted documentary style, and from the pictures she blogged, she definitely captured the moments. I just can't wait to see more! I am crying looking at these!! And I love the lighting and frames and colors!! For those of you getting married in NYC, I just can't recommend her enough - she's an even better person than she is a photographer, which is saying a lot, since her photographs are making me cry....
