Bees, in my family there was always an emphasis on being thin and fit and vain in general. Since I usually have a fast metabolism I would well, pig out and just work out lol! I honestly had never even considered that people choose veggies because they want to be HEALTHY! And this didnt change until I came on the bee. You guys really changed my perspective. And today, for the first time, I applied it instinctively! I was craving something salty and spicy (usually nachos, quesadillas, fries or popcorn). Instead I had sliced cucumber with lemon and salt (I know, I know but hey I’m working on it, and salt is going to be a hard one to curb lol) and the craving was satisfied!!. I mentioned it to my FI and he actually pointed it out, he said I have never chosen food over another craving to be healthy, usually only when I diet. So thank you bees!!! I’m going to keep this up and hopefully do better healthwise 🙂

@minipenguin: Cucumbers (any raw veggie, really!) with lemon juice and salt (yep, me too) is one of my favorite snacks! Too bad Reese cups are also one of my favorites :/ lol

Good for you!! I think you will find that when you eat better, you FEEL better. I’m a big fan of Harley Pasternak and his books – they changed the way I think about food and being healthy. Keep up the good work!

That’s awesome good for you! I always had a fast metabolism and never had to watch what i ate – my entire family is naturally thin, i quit smoking about 6 months ago and put on 10 kgs (about 20 pounds!) and i FREAKED out, i still wasn’t overweight but i had jiggly bits where i’d never had jiggly bits before! I think a combination of quitting smoking and eating way too much and getting older that slowed my metabolism down. The last few months i have started eating really healthy and doing a lot of exercise and i never felt better! I didn’t realise i didn’t feel great in the first place but now i feel like this i realise i was unhealthy. I’m really trying to focus on clean eating – no processed rubbish just fresh, healthy, nutritious food. love it.
Well done, keep up the good work – hopefully it just keeps getting better! 🙂

@s2bmrscook: I LOVE Reese’s! Thank goodness I cant get them where I live (Well I can but they’re like $6 a pair so it kinda ruins them for me so no lol). They are mine too but I always eat them when I diet, and at this moment I’m not, proud moment today lol
@missmovies: I will look into them thank you!

@Missy_Star: I quit smoking because of health too!! But it had been because I didnt want to ruin my skin and teeth (goodness, where have my priorities been?). And I love the difference in how you feel!! I did get it when I started working out but now I cant wait to see the changes when I eat better!!
