Just make sure you get them on the market promptly after the wedding  so you can take advantage of the fact that blush is very popular right now.

I purchased our own napkins for the wedding because our colour was guava (coral) and so hard to match.  I’m still having trouble selling them 🙁

I bought mine with grand intentions to sell.

They’re still sitting nicely folded and washed in my linen closet haha.

@txrodeo:  I bought mine because it was cheaper than renting, so honestly I don’t care if I throw them away afterwords or they sit in the garage sale pile for MONTHS.

Mom is buying mine as a Christmas present.  It was about $65 cheaper than renting since I found a Black Friday deal for 15% off with free shipping.  My linens will be mostly black with one silver round tablecloth and red napkins.  I hope I can sell them after the wedding, but if not it’s no biggie.

    txrodeo:  Hello TXrodeo,

If you still have your linens I would be interested in buying them. What size did you buy?

I rented our table linens from the venue for $5 each…cheaper than buying and renting from another company. But I purchased my polyester napkins from a website because it was cheaper to buy than rent. I too thought that reselling would be easy but I havent tried to sell them as of yet. I need to count them for a correct number. There is a box that are unpackaged but unused and a bag of used. Once I have time to count them I will see about selling them. They are plum/eggplant so crossing my fingers they will sell. I agree with PP, you may need to sell them quickly after wedding while the color is still popular.

I am having the bridesmaids dresses custom made, so we decided to take one of the colours (peach) and purchase more fabric to use as table runners. It ended up being much cheaper than renting, and it was the exact colour that we wanted. I will likely be in the same boat with them at the end.. sitting in my linen closet, but it ended up being cheaper in the long run.
