For me (previous healthy pregnancy) it was the 6th week before it showed up…the only pre POAS symptoms I had were craaazy increased appetite (like I could eat a foot long subway AND a bowl of wedges after work), and a funny taste in my mouth. Also fatigue. But for me there was no mistaking MS when it arrived…it was full on puking all day until delivery due to a very strong implantation (a very good problem to have which made it easier to get through). My last pregnancy which ended at 5 weeks (in December) I was already feeling nauseous, But no puking – only dizziness. So it could definitely be a symptom as it seems every pregnancy is different. BTW chart is looking good for PG so far to my beginners eye…

@ScottishMrs:  Nice dip at 6dpo. I’ve got my fingers crossed for you. Hoping that grapefruit juice did the trick.xoxo Sorry I’m no help with the poll, I didn’t have nausea that I recall. πŸ™‚

@ScottishMrs:  Are you taking a prenatal with lots of iron in it?  This was the culprit for my nausea in TWWs.  I switched prenatals to one without iron and no more nausea.  I did see your chart though and it does look pretty awesome!  I just started getting nausea about 2 days ago, and its not that bad, although tonight it seems a little worse (I am 5 weeks 3 days today).  I didn’t have super early nausea, in fact, I didn’t really feel pregnant at all until about a week after I tested positive.  I had all normal PMS symptoms and not exaggerated at all, in fact, if anything they were a little less.  But everyone is completely different! FX FOR YOU!!!! πŸ™‚

@almajele:  I remember the funny taste, not being able to sleep, major headaches, nausea, having an unending appetite with an obsession toward apples, and the sorest nipples EVER. This was by week 6. I never made it past 8 weeks (sad face) but boy do I worry about eventually going to term since my symptoms were CAH-razy…(although my complexion was fab-u-lous!)

No nausea for me until week 6 (and it only lasted until week 9). I had no obvious symptoms prior to my missed period.

I got nausea with Prometrium, a progesterone supplementation, the 4 or so cycles that I was on it.

@WillyNilly:  come to think of it I had headaches too but i kind of chalked that up to caffeine withdrawal as I am usually a caffeine fiend…don’t worry too much about your next (definitely sticky) pregnancy…I asked my doctor if all my pregnancies would be as bad as my first and he said it has everything to do with your baby and not a lot to do with you (as the mother). Your next one could be almost symptomless! πŸ™‚

@ScottishMrs: at least if you have the bad luck of having that kind of MS you’ll know there’s a robustly healthy bub in there! Looking forward to your update on POAS πŸ™‚

i often had nausea as a TWW symptom (but not always) beginning from around 5DPO. But in this BFP cycle I didn’t.

I’ve had a bit starting today (early 5th week) but very low level, assuming it will start getting worse with time!

Hope yours is a good sign πŸ™‚

I got nausea pretty much as soon as sperm met egg and have it still at 14 weeks! The nausea was turning into dry heaving by the time I got my BFP at 9 DPO. I do have pre-existing stomach problems though, which were made much worse by pregnancy!
