We booked our photographer months ago and now I’m thinking we should have two photographers. I’m afraid one won’t capture everything.
Our ceremony and reception are in the same place. .It would be an additional $400.00 to book the second photographer (from the same company) for 7 hours. We are not doing a first look.
(yes, this is the thing I’m freaking out about this month. Tune in next month when it will be something different. .)

Haha, sorry, I had to pick “I like cheese” because I do and it made me laugh out loud that you put that as a choice 🙂
I’m afraid I can’t speak to the photographer issue because I’m still engaged. We’re having a second shooter so we have someone to take pictures of the guys as they get ready too. Also, the second shooter will help with portraits during cocktail hour so it’ll go faster, and he’ll shoot those artistic ones of rings, centerpieces, shoes, etc. while the other photographer is taking action pics.

Our package was 2 photographers and there were still a few details they missed! There was too much for one person, I’m really glad we had them both.

I picked “I like cheese” because I really do. I had a second shooter and like @bakerella, they still didn’t capture everything. I would think if your wedding is small one photographer could be fine, but for me I’d definitely spend the extra $400 for the second. That said, photography was our top priority.

Being a photographer as a hobbyist, I definitely encourage getting 2 photographers!! $400 will cover different angles, include almost double the pictures, and be easier for separate photographers at the house prior when getting dressed. I know for me, it’s one of the mandatory things I must have for my photography.

I voted I like cheese, because I like cheese but I only had one. I had a small party, 160 and she was able to get everything.

I totally think two photographers are the way to go! They capture different angles, and often times the second photographer uses a more photojournalistic style, which I truly love. I love the mix from both of my photographers and recommend wholly to all!
