I’m a big fan of everyday stuff that involve the little things in life !

I feel good after a good vacuum or floor cleaning or making myself workout when Id rather not! Making a nice dinner, and such.

I’ve accomplished a lot of the “big” things that society trumps up ( home ownership, vehicles, college degrees, marriage etc) but honestly for the most part they bring more responsibility and stress than satisfaction! lol

I feel accomplished when I look at my daughter. There’s really not been anything in my life that makes me feel better about myself. My career (so far) has not panned out as I wanted, and my current job is something I don’t feel I excel in…but my daughter makes me feel fantastic about myself.

I feel like I’m a damn good mom 🙂

I’m equally proud of my success at my career and in my marriage. I’m moving up (attending graduate PhD program now) for a career I love and am very fulfilled by, and I’m beating the odds my advisors set (aka, you’ll never be accepted into a graduate program :)). At the same time, I find a huge amount of satisfaction in my relationship with my husband. We’ve been together since ages 17/18, married after a college LDR at 21/22, and are only getting stronger and growing together as we move forwards. I feel very accomplished when I can say with surety that I give 100% at work and also at home 🙂

I feel really good about the volunteer work I do as a sexual assault victim advocate for a non profit organization here in town.

Makes me feel like I am finally making a positive difference in this world….

@Rouquine:  You’re an AMAZING woman! Congratulations on successfully mitigating your bipolar/depression! I also think it’s really great that you went back to school and got your diploma and are now considering college. Way to go!

I personally am proud of myself for being where I am right now. I’m currently very hapy with who I am and what I do. My father passed away suddenly 2.5 years ago, and it was really hard to recover from. But, now I have a B.S. in Environmental Science, am about to start my M.S. in Biology and have an AMAZING boyfriend. What more could a girl want?

I know this should be positive but I can’t think of anything. I’ll have to go with the fact that I’ve migrated thousands of miles away from home and even though it isn’t easy I haven’t moved back.

@Rouquine: sorry for being so negative it’s been a really hard year for me in just about all aspects of life but I’m hanging in there and looking forward to the future and things getting better.
