My dress is going to have a beaded bodice with scattered beading along the skirt. I have been debating whether the BMs should have some sort of sparkle in their outfit (maybe in their shoes or with jewelry) so that we have an element that ties the whole look together. I just don’t want things to look gaudy, so I am not sure this is the route I want to go with the wedding party. If any of you bees have any ideas or pictures of how you accessorized your wedding party, I’d really apreciate you sharing them. Thanks!

My girls are wearing simple satin shift above the knee dresses with a touch of sparkle (their gifts) in a pendant necklace and blingy drop earrings. I think it’s the perfect touch to be a nod to all the sparkle I’m wearing (my dress has beading, but most of the bling is actually coming from my jewelry) without being too much.

I personally like the look of a sleek, clean look for bridesmaids, no matter the detail of the wedding dress. To me, it kind of makes the bride’s dress stand out more.

My dress is all lace and beaded throughout. My bridesmaids are in a simpler, long chiffon dress. I prefer that look – like another poster said, I think it’s a little cleaner. I don’t want to be too over the top.

@Jessy727: I like how you say the brides dress will stand out more with a cleaner look for the bridesmaids.
@OliveT: My dress also has lace, and I have been thinking of chiffon dresses. I really like the flowy feel of them, especially for summer. I have also been considering satin because of it’s shine, but it’s nice to know someone has paired lace and beading with chiffon bridesmaid dresses.
