Mine’s a 7mm Amora RB moissy. It took a little bit of convincing for my FH, but once i had reassured him again and again that this was what I wanted, and he saw how excited I got about it, he appreciated being able to get a larger rock for the price. He told his friends how great it was, and a few months later, his roommate proposed to his girlfriend with a moissanite too!

Also, I’ve had it now for over a year and it’s still as beautiful as the day I got it. i’ve dropped it and hit it against things, and every stone is as secure as ever

My ring came from there and I seriously love my ring so much! Moissanite is a stunningly gorgeous stone and a great alternative to a diamond!

I love me some moissy…  but I think the easiest way to convince him is to order a loose stone and let him see it, in person, for himself.

I got mine over a year ago and I think she looks better and more sparkly now!  it is a 1ct  unenhanced round brilliant.  She was in the saddle section for  about $500.

I have a 1ct forever brilliant moissy. I am so in love with it!  I had a diamond before this, and MUCH prefer my moissanite.  The fire that a moissy can produce compared to a diamond is no contest.  The moissanite wins the fire contest every time.  My FI and I are both in college right now, and moissanite seemed like a good option to us because it is a fraction of the cost of a diamond, is just as beautiful (if not more beautiful than diamond), it is more ethical, and is clear and full of fire and sparkle.  Its a great stone!

@SoontobeMrsKB:  Loving your ring! I am not usually fan of halos but every now and then I catch myself drooling over one.  Yours does the trick. lol

I’ve had my 6mm moissy for over three years, however we purchased the ring from a small, local jeweler.  I’ve never had any problems with my stone or setting (diamond sidestones), and I love more and more each day.

This is my ring: http://www.moissanitejewelryshop.com/index.php/design-your-moissanite-engagement-ring/moissanite-diamond-accent/riviera-vintage-moissanite-engagement-ring-1-20-carat-t-w-14k-wg-68218.html

It’s even more gorg in person but I don’t have a great pic of it, just this one – the ring looks kind of crooked in this one but it really isn’t, it is perfect.  It has a slightly warm (yellow) tint in certain light but mostly looks white. I am so happy with my choice.

I don’t have a great picture, just one from the night I got it. I just wanted to say that I had a hard time convincing my fiance too. Now he loves it and he knows I love it. You can always return it if you absolutely hate it, but you won’t!!

@CaseyC2611:  I have a moissy and I’ve said before but I’ll say it again, I held it up to my sister’s $11,000 engagement ring and our center stones were identical, if anything hers was a little bit ‘sparklier’ than mine (which surprised me because everyone says moissy’s sparkle is what can give it away). The point of me saying that is, if your SO is worried that people will “know” and think he’s a cheapy, don’t be. 99% won’t know. Anyway, we made such a great decision in buying my ring. I got a .75 ct 14k white gold solitaire for $200 and that same ring with diamond would have cost $1500. What’s the real difference between diamond and moissy? One has the ‘reputation’ and one doesn’t. One is expensive because people have been convinced that it’s worth it and one isn’t. They’re both beautiful but really, if you’re on a budget, moissy can’t be beat. I am positive that no one has noticed that my stone isn’t diamond (if that’s your thing) except for the jeweler when I went to get it rhodium plated (she gave me a weird look and I imagine that that’s because she recognized that is wasn’t diamond).
