I don’t have a useful picture really, but I’m wearing casual brown boots, knee high with a cuff that makes me feel piratey.

I’m always sharing these, but love a good excuse to post the pics again Wink  I’ve got Dr Martens because I wear them all the time in everyday life, so why would my wedding day be any different?  I know they’re not to everyone’s taste (read: hardly anyone else will like them) but they’re so comfy and will be hidden by my dress anyway.  My mum’s got it into her head that she needs to ‘do something’ with the heels.  I can’t imagine what she’s planning to do…

@nativedesires:  Thank you!  It looks like you’re another girl who would rather be comfortable (in terms of both comfy feet and wearing your own style) rather than conforming to what ‘should’ be worn.  My mum’s friend (who’s basically like my aunt) had an absolute fit when she first saw my boots but after I tried them with my dress she agreed that they were completely ‘me’ and she couldn’t imagine me wearing anything else.

I dont have a picture, but I am wearing mustard yellow flats.  FI is not much taller than me, so any type of heels were out.

Well, mine aren’t traditional in that they’re not white satin peep toes…

I am going the Something Blue Tom’s route myself. I am all about being comfortable, and no one will see them anyway 🙂 But I will feel like I am hiding this dirty little secret all day. Can’t wait!
