Hopefully a few of you bees have seen the purple boxes that the parks departments puts in the tress to prevent ash borers and beetles from harming the trees. Today I was walking my dog and he stepped on a bunch of leaves that was COVERED in an extremely sticky subtance. It spread sticky goo all over his chest, leg and belly. I looked around to see where the heck this thing might have come from and I could only guess that it was the adhesive I saw on the outside of the purple beetle box in the tree above us.
I’ve made an appointment with the groomer for tomorrow afternoon, and intend to shave it off, but if this happens again when his hair is shorter, I won’t have that option. So my question is….does anyone know how in the world I get this sticky goo off of my poor pup? I’ve given him two baths, and it’s still a nasty, sticky mess – and a huge knot now that he’s been walking around with it on him for a few hours. UGH, how frustrating!
