In the 10 days since we got home from honeymoon I/we’ve
-hauled a humongous bag of clothing off to charity
-deposited a 100 litre tub of off-season and I-want-to-fit-into-again clothes and other unwanted-right-now possessions into storage
-excavated the wedding/general junk corner of our very small living space and collected a big pile of hard waste for collectioN
– sold DH’s old computer and electric guitar and used it to fund…
– built aforepictured storage monstrosity ;
– booked a whole lot of medical and career advice appointments including finally getting a dental checkup
– bought a new (to us) car (found it two days after we got home, we had it by the end of the first week!)
– obtained my marriage certificate and got my licence changed
It feels so good! And totally proven anyone who said we’d feel flat after the wedding wrong… well for now at least 😉 it’s cleansing and feels like a wonderful fresh start to our marriage.
What are you and your SO’s up to??!! anyone else equally keen to brag about their productivity?! Surely we’re not the only ones being total homebodies/keeping ikea in business!

Great work 🙂 In the past couple of weeks I have been keeping up with studies, going above the minimum requirement as well as doing extra study for exams, contacted two employment services places, contacted centrelink about possible payment. I also got my learner’s licence renewed last Tuesday, had an exam on Saturday, been working on goals to achieve by my birthday to show my psychologist on Friday, had an appointment with the psychologist yesterday, had a blood test this morning and just had an optometrist appointment – he thinks I might be slightly anemic. So been pretty busy lately, but still spend some time relaxing with a book, watching tv or browsing the interwebs and Weddingbee 🙂
No homebody stuff for me just yet, been trying to hold myself back from buying more stuff since I don’t have room for it and I already have a couple of boxes in my family’s storage unit! It is tempting to check more things off my list of stuff to get though!

We can’t be the only bees who have been productive lately and want to brag/share!
Just to clarify since I have posted about money issues before – regarding buying stuff, I usually borrow money from FI to buy that stuff, or spend what money I do sometimes get from dividends, or just have occasional shopping trips with FI to get more stuff for moving out 🙂 So he is probably thankful that we aren’t getting more stuff at the moment!
