Don’t be hard on yourself! We all have little things like that go wrong. It sounds like you made it through mostly unscathed.

However, DEFINITELY get some money back and leave some reviews of that florist. My family owned a florist for a long time, and what he did was totally unprofessional and not ok. He should have never booked more weddings than he could handle competently – that’s on him. It’s not an excuse to make giant mistakes like that. I’m sorry it happened to you.

@Chelwilly:  Congrats!! I understand how you feel. Some things didn’t go as planned for me either. That’s no reason to be hard on yourself:) I’m sure your hair looked lovely and your pics will be amazing. I’ve seen your pics in other threads…Impossible for you to look anything but beautiful! Chin up and start posting those gorgeous pics!! as far as the florist is concerned try to get your money back but don’t hold your breath, My florist forgot to bring my throw away bouquet, the groomsmen Boutenaires, and the parents flowers. I tried to get a refund but the lady swears she placed them on a table in the reception room. Liar LOL!!

My guestbook got lost entirely, among other mishaps… you kind of just have to go “ehhhhhhh” and let go of everything but the worst of disasters… and it doesn’t sound like “the worst of disasters” happened here. I bet your hair was gorgeous, soft and romantic, the arch, while wrong, was lovely enough that most guests would have had no idea, and the reception entrance kiss was cute and a memorable moment you’ll giggle at in the future. (Just another perspective.)

@Chelwilly:  I know the pressure to be perfect and feel perfect on the day we get married is insane But we are also our own worst critics. Yay! You’re married now and about to start a new life together. Cheers to that:)

If you had a wonderful time, you can’t let a few mishaps eat away at you!  I’m sure none of your guests noticed a thing amiss, just a beautiful wedding.  Congratulations!!

I have no doubt that you looked utterly gorgeous and, to be fair, it is rare that anyone can say that everything went 10% perfectly. So don’t beat yourself up. Concentrate on all the good things but certainly do not be gentle on the florist. So unprofessional!
