What does your contract say? You didn't specify what happened so I can't tell if you paid them but then they didn't show up or you paid them and they showed up but did a horribly atrocious job. If you provide more details, that would be helpful.
At the very least, have you looked into filing a complaint with the BBB or taking them to small claims court?
I've gotten the run around a lot. Let me list all of the stuff that has happened.
1. I was told that our Engagement Session would be held on June 1, 2008 and was given our photographer’s name and phone number. When I called her the day before to confirm, she said that they hadn’t told her anything about it. I had already made hair and makeup appointments, which I had to move back another week.
2. I ordered our “Engagement Picture” via phone before our wedding and never received it. I called again on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 and they assured me that it would be over-nighted by September 12, 2008… it didn’t arrive until September 15, 2008 (3 days TOO late!!).
3. I wanted to upload pictures from my DVD onto my website so that I could make enhancements. I was told by a representatve to send her the picture numbers and she would have them uploaded by the operations team. This was on January 29, 2009. She said she would email me when they were ready… which she said would be the next day. I followed up with her on February 3, 2009 and she apologized as she “had not been informed they were already uploaded” onto the website. This again, was untrue. Before my first email her that morning, I checked the website… and they were not there. They “happened” to appear after my email to her.
4. I sent for enhancements on Tuesday, February 3, 2009, apparently, this would take “up to 7 business days.” On February 18, 2009, I followed up (this was 10 BUSINESS DAYS later) and I was told by a customer service rep the following: “Your enhancements are currently in the processing stage. Our editors are currently working on the enhancements. I apologize for the delay; however, I was not happy with the initial results so I sent them back to be re-worked. I want to make sure that they are completely satisfactory.” That being said… if somebody was not satisfied with it, I would have liked to receive some type of communication regarding this long delay. I sent an email similar to this one on Wednesday, February 25, 2009 to my representative there. I spoke to her the next day, Thursday, February 26, 2009 and she said she would check on all of this for me. She was going to check on the status of the enhancements, and would shoot me an email the same day… I didn't get an email until March 9, 2009 to tell me the enhancements were ready.
To compensate for that, they were going to "rush" my album drafting... it usually takes 4-5 weeks. It's been over 5 weeks now and I still have nothing.
Not sure what to do.
Wow, what a nightmare! It is so sad to hear stories like that!!!!That's what happens often (I hear) with large photography studios. You basically dont know who to chase.....I would also file a complaint as sphbride suggested....
I would also do a reviews about the services, you could prevent/help other brides to deal with hassle like this
I hope you get this solved!!!!!
did you ever get a refund? I used Bella/studio blue and the situation was even worse then yours. Not only have I gotten the run around, but I got horrible pictures to boot. They keep offering me credit. I don't want another thing from that company
Wow, sorry to hear about all this. Moving forward, everyone's best bet is to avoid large agency's like this. It turns a personal experience into one where you are only a number and treated with poor customer service and ability to expedite things. Certainly not what you want to deal with when it comes to a wedding.

Has anybody tried to get a refund from Bella Pictures? I have had the worst nightmare dealing with them, 6 months after my wedding. All they keep doing is giving me print credits. I am tired of those. What should I do?
