(Closed) Bellybands: 24lb paper or cardstock?

I am in the same situation as you and I think I’ll be ordering the heavy paper since cardstock will be hard to fold cleanly/evenly and will add a good amount of weight to the whole invite (if you’re using it in other parts of the project), which could increase the necessary postage you need to mail it.

I used thick cardstock for my bellybands and paper weight for envelope liners.  The paper weight (at least for my invites) would have completely ripped if I tried using it.  I think it depends on your invite.
