I am getting my supplies together for my pocketfold invites and I was wondering whether I should use heavy paper or cardstock for my bellybands.
Whichever material I choose, will also be used for the invitation mat.
I was considering the heavy paper since I could probably use it to line my envelopes as well…
What do you think?

I am in the same situation as you and I think I’ll be ordering the heavy paper since cardstock will be hard to fold cleanly/evenly and will add a good amount of weight to the whole invite (if you’re using it in other parts of the project), which could increase the necessary postage you need to mail it.

Yea my pocketfold has about 4 inserts, plus the invite, all out of carstock. I would love to be able to send these things out with just one stamp!
The heavy paper was my first instinct

I used thick cardstock for my bellybands and paper weight for envelope liners. The paper weight (at least for my invites) would have completely ripped if I tried using it. I think it depends on your invite.
