Hey bees 🙂
Everyone has been SO helpful when I was trying to decide on a dress so I wanted to get some feedback. I finally said yes to my Paloma 4465, however I am hesitant about whether I should change out the belt that comes with the dress.
I love the look of the dress and feel like the flower belt is very different than the usual straight across bling belt…but I’m feeling like my dress needs more sparkle/bling to make it really wow. I just worry if I replaced the flower sash the dress would lose some of the personality that made me love it in the first place! I also love how since the sash is the same color of the dress it makes my silhouette look longer in my opinion instead of breaking up my torso…I just feel like something is missing?
Some pictures of dress for reference
I wish I knew how to photoshop a different belt onto my dress.. I always have a hard time imagining. Any advice is much appreciated!

I love that belt with your dress. They are both flowy and light.

I LOVE THE BELT!!!! SO CUTE
I can see that you think you might need bling, but I think there is something to staying with the belt the dress was originally designed with– sometime’s the designers have it right! 🙂

I think that with the flowery belt you have now, the dress looks really whimsical. With a blingy belt, I think the dress would look a lot more formal and “black tie”-ish. I think either way it will look beautiful, it just depends on what kind of look you’re going for and what your venue is like. If you’re getting married outside, I think I would stay with the flower belt. If you’re getting married in a church or you have a ball room reception, I would go with a sparkly one. That’s just my two cents!

I love your dress just as it is. I would add a delicate bling with earrings or a necklace, but not too much that disturbs the ethereal beauty of your dress.

I agree with prior posters. Your dress is very ethereal and whimsical. I would not remove the belt that comes with it.

I would keep the belt you have on the dress. It is beautiful!

Thank you all so much for your opinions.. I’m always the type to second guess everything and I just wanted to make sure something wasn’t missing in the dress.

What is everyones thoughts on a delicate thin belt like this instead?

I love the flowery one! If your looking for some sparkle though maybe get some shimmery glitter and carefully outline the petals with it, just a thought.

nicoleylo: I would love to see the dress with this belt…I’m just not a flower fan.

nicoleylo: I like the thin sparkley one you posted better. That being said, I’m not a fan of flowers, and I love belts with a little bit of bling and sophistication.

Keep the flower one! It is very romantic and beautiful. I’d add sparkle with jewelry, say earrings, maybe a tiara or some type of shine on your hair and maybe shoes?

I agree. I prefer flower belt!
