Hello ladies ! (and maybe some gentlemen!)
I saw this ad for Ben Moss Jewelers and checked out their website…. Love lots of the rings ! I saw one that I would consider for a possible wedding band… However there is only one picture of it. No side views or anything like that.
Any of you have experience with that jeweler? Let me know 🙂
Thank you !

I purchased a RHR there roughly two years ago (amazing sale!) and have been extrodinarily happy with it. At the time it needed to be sized, and I was happy to see that the ring was ready for pickup after sizing only a few days later. The particular staff person helping us was very helpful. I tried on lots of rings that day and they were able to answer all of my questions. For a chain store, I found their level of service to be way better than a few other stores we’d been to prior to that. I was pleasantly surprised 🙂

My rings are from Ben Moss. I don’t know much about customer service there, as DH was the one who dealt with the purchasing, but I like them.

@maudemaisha: I would say Ben Moss is one of the nicer chain jewelers (compared to People’s, etc). Their quality tends to be a little bit better and everytime I’ve gone in there, they have been helpful. My biggest peeve is that they don’t have a jeweler on site, so if you need repairs they have to send your ring away.

If you have a nickel allergry run for the hills. My E-Ring came from Ben Moss and almost immediatly it was eating my finger. I tried to deal with it for about a year when my FI bought me a new e-ring from Peoples. My ring was white gold but they use a lot of nickel to up the ‘stiffness’ of the gold, rather than more gold. If you don’t have any allergies then Ben Moss is great!

Could I see pictures ? 🙂

I would definitely recommend them compared to People’s/Mappin’s, etc. Their customer service is great. Also try out Michael Hill if there’s one near you.

Back when FI was a boyfriend, he gave me an amethyst RHR for Valentine’s Day from Ben Moss over 2 years ago. It was fairly inexpensive and he bought the warranty, which I highly recommend. The warranty comes with repair/resizing, and they will re-set lost stones, and cover the cost of replating, which i’ve already taken advantage of. They normally charge $40-50 for replating and the warranty covers this service!

@maudemaisha: I bought a right hand ring there about 3 years ago and so far so good… I wear it almost daily. I need to get it re-dipped since it’s white gold, but that’s to be expected. It’s held up nicely and the diamonds seem to be good quality even though I bought it on a whim and didn’t ask about cut/clarity/color etc.
I would definitely look into what you’re buying and do a bit of price shopping, but I think they’re a step up from Peoples. I would buy from them again.

Both of my bands are from Ben Moss. They have always been great to deal with and bent over backwards to get my wedding band before the wedding (I ordered Monday and wedding was Saturday) I havent ordered online because I have 2 stores within 20 mins of my house either way so I just go there

Just wanted to share my newly acquired Ben Moss e-ring. It is the same style as brighteyedgirl’s in the .70ct version (I am aware that there’s also a .35ct). It photographs beautifully and I love my ring, especially for its’ eye-popping sparkle and value.

I know that this is an old thread, but just wanted to chime in and say that I’ve only ever had good experiences with them. We wanted a chain since we are still moving around quite a bit and wanted something accessibly no matter where we were, so we can still use their lifetime service plan.

Keroppi: Thank you! We are moving around too and that is the main reason why we got our rings from a chain. Accessible and utilize the lifetime warranty more easily. It’s our first time dealing with Ben Moss so it’s nice to know that you’ve had good experiences with them!
