Today is dragging for me! I thought it would be fun to hear what you are most looking forward to about the big day besides the best part of actually getting married. Maybe something you’ve been working really hard for or super fun. if your already married what was it ?
I can’t wait to actually get married but I am super exited to get ready with my girlfriends and family before the wedding. One of my bridesmaids I’ve known since I was 5 and I felt like I’ve pictured us getting ready for so long.
I also cant wait to walk around in vegas in my dress. 🙂
have all my close friends and family all in one place.
Not have to stress about wedding planning. Lol.
Pretty much everything but that’s a few.

DisneyKb: the honeymoon. I’m more excited for the honeymoon than I am for the wedding – I’ll be married to my honey, with all wedding stress and family drama behind me, at a 5 star resort in the Caribbean.

I recently found out that all of my aunts and uncles on my dad’s side will be attending our wedding. One of my aunts has been having mobility issues over the past year, and another aunt recently had surgery. My dad didn’t think they would be fit enough to travel (all are out of state), but their doctors said it would be fine. I have not seen most of my dad’s side of the family in 10 years, so I’m really excited to have them together again.

We’ve been married for almost 3 years, and have been TTC ever since, so I’m most looking forward to the moment when I can say I’m pregnant! (I have been pregnant, but sadly exactly a year ago, I miscarried.)

Not WR, but I am most excited about being there for him when he “walks” and gets his PhD. I know how it is to work hard on something for years and to not have anyone there to share in your enjoyment… romantic-wise, at least! I’m just really excited about enjoying a glass of wine with him and making sure he knows how proud I am of him and all of his accomplishments.

Speeches. Both my Fiance and I lost our mothers at a very young age so I know there will be a lot of beautiful things said.

Our honeymoon! It’s about three weeks after our wedding, and we’re both so tired already that we can’t wait to just vacation a few days away.

DisneyKb: There are so many things that I am looking forward to …
In no particular order:
Our honeymoon to Hawaii in April, FI’s sister having a baby, getting a new car next year, getting my drivers licence next month, seeing FI’s uncle again when we go to Hawaii and meeting the rest of his family there, having children of our own eventually, getting my dress, oh and the fooood at the reception, the ceremony music (our friend is a professional pianist and is doing all of the ceremony), walking down the aisle with my dad, being surrounded by the people I love and care about.

Foodwise I’m most looking forward to our raw bar (oysters with selection of mignonettes, cocktail sauce, lemon wedges and fresh horseradish, assorted smoked fish served with capers, red onion marmalade, dill crème fraîche, toast points, fresh lobster medallions with citrus, smoked salmon and cucumber rolls, spicy tuna rolls, bay scallops and shrimp ceviche, and jumbo shrimp with sauces).
Other than food, I’m looking forward to being surrounded by our family and friends. Its rare to have everyone together and I’m so excited for the opportunity.

our honeymoon as well! sadly it will be about 6mths after our wedding but its something to look forward too. plus i am looking forward to the ‘day after’ the wedding as his family will be hosting a big luncheon at their house for all of the out of town guests – about 30ppl. it will be more of a relaxing environment and i can talk to everyone and take my time instead of feeling rushed and pulled and pushed in so many directions 🙂 okay PLUS i am really looking forward to walking down the aisle. i know i’m gonna be a slobbering mess but looking forward to that!
