Hi DIY bees, any suggestions for what to use to glue envelope liners inside the envelopes? I have a regular old glue stick but I’m wondering if there are other cool products out there to make the job easier and more fool-proof. I’m not normally into paper crafting but I have a Michael’s coupon so I don’t mind investing in something new.
Getting ready to send out STDs, hopefully this weekend 🙂

Sorry, I have no advice. 🙁
I just couldn’t resist the Seinfeld reference:
Just don’t use the one George’s fiance used! 🙂

Tagging because I am also curious.

Roll-on double-stick adhesive/scrapbook tape. (I buy this 4-pack at JoAnn with a coupon.) Definitely the easiest, cleanest way to go. Just roll on small strips of adhesive ONLY near the top edges of the liner (the two edges where they meet at the point), and tuck inside the envelope.
A glue stick would also work, but depending on the brand and how thick you lay it on, it could warp the envelope and liner. Definitely do not recommend anything heavy or liquid like Elmer’s, Mod Podge, or spray adhesive, they will most definitely without a doubt warp the envelope and liner.

@maraschino: Great, thanks for the tips! I think I’ll try the roll-on. I’d hate to go to the trouble of getting envelope liners if it would just turn out all funky from too much glue.
