Fiance and I were talking a couple of days ago about opening a credit card that would allow us to use airline miles. I think for the most part, we could use cash to pay for the wedding, but I think it may be beneficial to open up a card to put wedding things on it (Especially the big ticket items, although they will all add up) to earn miles for our honeymoon? Does anyone have a suggestion as to which may be the best for earning miles? Or any thoughts on this?

My dad loves the United card but he is by a United hub so it’s easy for him to fly anywhere. I’ve heard that Capital One is the best any miles card I believe.
I put most of my daily expenses on a card that I pay off every month, it’s a good deal as long as you know limits!

Southwest is a good one b/c it takes less points to earn a flight; one-ways start at just 7,000 points so you can be flying free faster; others start at 12,000 points. Round trips start at 16,000 points for southwest versus 25,000 elsewhere. FI has a United card and has racked up lots of miles, but then it takes 40,000-60,000 to get a flight so it’s not much use!
